So was Saul knowing where Brody was part of his plan with Carrie? Since Carrie didn't seem to know where Saul was, I don't know if that is the case. Loved Quinn shooting Carrie. She deserved that.

This was fucking great.
Finally! Finally! They were prepared for Carrie, she can never follow orders, so they already have a protocol to take of her. That was probably the best part
I didn't like the Saul's marital problems story, but the last scene may redeem that plot line.

LOVED the twist w/the cheating wife's lover. Brilliant. Can't believe there are only 4 episodes left in the season.

I called the cheating guy being a spy last episode. I said they were spending too much time on that to not have something be important about it.

Amusing to see carrie shot, seems like it would just be smarter though to never let her sit in a stakeout by herself. Just put a goon in there with orders not to let her out of the vehicle.

So Carrie is abandonded and left to rot in a Psych hospital by the CIA, until the crack lawyer gets her out. And then she is 'turned' - but immediately able to go back to work and has access to all the intel/information.
I understand the CIA side of it, but the other side seems odd that they would think she's back on the inside 100%

great episode. The show is on fire during this 2nd half. Very pleased that Gansa and his writers finally figured something out on where to take the show this season.
Loved Quinn shooting Carrie. Stupid bitch deserved it for nearly fucking up the operation.
The thing at the end with Saul flying to Venezuela to see Brody caught me by surprise.
Mira mentioned that she's been married to Saul for 35 years. That would make her character in her what mid to late 50's? Sarita Choudhry is only 47. I still remember watching her in Mississippi Masala back in 1991 when I was in High School. That was her acting debut. I also liked the reveal about the lover being some kind of spy.

In the Brody episode the main guy said he owed Carrie a favor so they kept him alive. I wonder if Saul didn't want to tell Carrie because she knew where he was and knew she'd flip knowing he was going there.

Speaking of which, how could her having a lover with access to the house not be seen as a security risk?

How can Saul, given his position, not have his house swept for bugs at least once a week? I bet he finds the bugs and leaves them in place to disseminate misinformation, but that won't be revealed for some time.

Meredith Stiehm is leaving The Bridge and returning back to Homeland. She signed on to work for 2 seasons.
In case you're not familiar with her name. She was on the season 1 writing staff & also an Executive Producer and left to showrun The Bridge, which she created.
Elwood Reid is taking over The Bridge. Very weird move by her.

Half the season was bad when we've still got 4 episodes left and because the first 3 shows were on the slow side and set up what has been a very strong season so far and a return to form?
Seriously, I expect to come in here and find people still complaining about Dana.
