Same here. Thank goodness we got a break from the suffocating prison. I think they are laying the groundwork for some powerful storytelling with the governor.
And the gore factor seems to be increasing each week.

I never liked the Governor character, but this went a long way in changing that.
Good episode, and definitely a nice change from the prison.
In the woods, I really thought the Gov was going to off the two women so he can take care of the girl.

I missed the Talking Dead episode to watch the Mentalist but I just read that Chris Hardwick's dad died yesterday and he did a tribute to him on the show.

The episode was ok but I wanted to see the outcomes of other events which soured me on this episode.

Those first 30 minutes were as slow and dull as anything the show has ever done. The episode was redeemed by the end but I am not sure I like having him around on a permanent basis.

Just about the worst episode of Walking Dead ever. By a longshot.
I HATE the recent Hollywood trend where they try to make you feel sorry for horrible, terrible, men.
Aren't hippies supposed to believe in "karma"? Didn't the Governor get his "karma"? Why are they trying to make us feel sorry for him?

I would have expected to feel the same way but somehow this won me over. Very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this one and definitely am less down on him being reincorporated back into the show.

Good episode. I see they're trying to redeem the Gov a bit, but they have a long to go to make me forget he murdered all those army guys.
