The overnight ratings are in, and on the surface look good: 9.10 million viewers and a 3.1 in the 18-49 demo. However, the half-hour numbers may temper the joy a bit:
8:00 - 10.02 million / 3.4
8:30 - 8.17 million / 2.8
So about 2 million viewers left before the episode ended. How many of the 8.17 million who watched the entire episode will be back tonight?

Liked it quite a bit. Urban is always awesome and Ealy was good in Sleeper Cell. Good chemistry between them.

I quite liked this. Very nice that they borrowed the look from Blade Runner. Urban and Ealy? Have good chemistry. I think I'm on board for the remainder of season.

Wasn't the best pilot I've seen, but not bad. I'll stick with it for a while to see how it develops. I hope it picks up early, because I watched 3 reps of Sleepy Hollow but have 4 stacked up - it just hasn't held my attention.
I agree the leads and the world were developed nicely. Even Minka Kelley is good in the role; she seems to have matured in her acting.
I could have used a bit more of the overarching plot/mystery. Aside from the video recording we didn't know much about their relationship so I think the big reveal fell a little flat - at least for me.

I watched both episodes last night and liked both.
This is as a pilot was a good introductory episode. It seems they may follow the Fringe route, and that's fine with me.

Liked the premiere. Haven't gotten around to the second episode yet. My wife lost interest after about 45 seconds, but she's a douche.

Watched both episodes last night and I really liked it. Wasn't expecting the great chemistry between the leads and humor. Good stuff.

Like Sleepy Hollow, recent episodes of Almost Human are available on the FOXNOW channel on the Roku without requiring that you have a particular cable service provider. At this moment episodes one through five with expiration dates ranging from January 7th to February 4th. Here's what's also great -- a recent Roku firmware update added a lot of options for configuring the closed captioning (color, font size, etc); any adjustments you make to the CC are passed on to the closed captioning if you turn that on while watching Almost Human.
