I thought Kerry did a great job and I fast forwarded through Eminem... AND I'M WHITE!
Seriously though, I liked Eminem like 13 years ago. Now he just needs to go away.

The opening skit killed it, and I enjoyed The Fox and What Would It Take. Jay and Kerry had good chemistry together and he really seemed to be at the top of his game tonight... this was probably the best I've seen him in non-impression roles. And I think they should find a way to make Kate McKinnon's Angela Merkel a regular on WU, even if they don't have a real world reason for doing so.
Some of the other bits were just awful, however. I get that the opening monologue was a riff on Scandal, but it just wasn't very funny. And Cartoon Catchphrase... Aidy Bryant worked overtime to try and make it happen but they've run these game show riffs into the ground and this one was DOA.

Completely agree, except since I wasn't familiar with the original video material even that fell flat for me as well. Another terribly unfunny show in an episode dominated by the female cast members. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Not anymore. Both Thompson and Pharoah are balking now at performing in drag. They won't put on wigs, makeup or dresses to portray Oprah Winfrey or Whoopi Goldberg, for example.
Performing in drag has been a contentious issue among black comics, even as people like Perry and Flip Wilson portrayed signature female characters. Having men portray women frequently turns them into cartoonish or stereotypical characters, said Darnell Hunt, a sociology professor and director of the Ralph J. "You are almost locked into certain types of portrayals of black women, if you have them at all," Hunt said.

Few Whites know how big a deal the "Black Man in DRAG" thing is to a lot a Black Actors and Comedians.
Dave Chappelle lists it as one of the things that made him pull back from Hollywood.

It's an Illuminati thing for Blacks in Hollywood. Some have said no in the past but ultimately end up doing it (Kevin Hart)
Just a side note. Does not watching this episode make me racist?

I watched this again last night and Keenan needs to leave.
He never plays a character. He dresses up like one, but never plays one.
Everyone else on that show uses character voices except him.
The man is horrible. And no, I am not being racist.
