Episode 8 / Production #508 - "Flowers for Taco" (Airs October 23, 10:30 pm e/p) - Chalupa Batman's first words cause fantasy friction between Kevin and Jenny. Ruxin's dog loses interest in Jenny. Taco is forced to face life without marijuana. Andre has never been pooped on by a bird. Written by Dan O'Keefe; directed by Jeff Schaffer.

They've been using way too much Taco. Like Raffi, he's good as a periphery character, and not a main one.

I'm know I'm the odd man out but... I don't find Taco funny, never really have.

Ruxin can still bring it, especially when he is with the wife or dad. And I never thought the Andre jokes were that funny. The Andre situations are funny, but the one liners are always weak.

I loved smart Taco making his lineup, and Pete getting pissed he didn't get the "Taco bye." So true in many fantasy leagues!

I thought this episode was pretty good for this season. The Taco stuff was funny. I agree that he's better in small doses but what they did with him this episode worked well. I liked 'smart Taco' and the revelation that Ruxin watched bondage porn in the park with his dog.

I have to say that Pete is my least favorite character on this show. He's not funny and sometimes he's just annoying. His stuff this week with Andre was awful.

The Kevin/Jenny stuff wasn't that good. Jenny trying to get the dog boner wasn't funny but it was pretty hot. Kevin and the Isaiah Pead stuff was stupid. You saw the end game coming a mile away.

Oh yeah, there is nothing worse than losing to the team in the league that everyone beats up on.

He and Kevin are the most expendable characters on the show. He needs to just stick to directing his arthouse flicks in real life or have someone actual write for him instead of attempting improv.

I thought overall the episode fell flat (like the whole season thus far). This show has off-the-wall stuff happen but that Andre and the bird shit thing was bizarre and Jenny with the dog boner was worse. It's like they've completely run out of ideas or they're just phoning it in this season.

To me it's an entertaining comedy, but not every episode has been gold. There's been quite a few duds, but this season especially is just entirely flat. There's no replay in any of the episodes.

Yeah, I have a 'Taco bye' guy in both of my leagues. :lol:
