Best episode of this show so far. They really up the ante on the suspense with this one.

I'm actually entertained by this show. Too bad about the rating numbers.

I really dig this show as well. It's a lot of fun...plausible? Nah. Fun? Yep.

At the very least, I hope CBS let's it ride out the entire 13 episodes.

I like this way better than The Blacklist, which only seems to have Spader going for it.

The only problem is that you knew the plan was destined to fail. The only plan that would work is the one will develop an episode or two before the finale.

To me the only thing interesting about this is what McDermott's character motivation is....it can't just be to get his wife (uber expensive) illegal medicine/treatment.

It would be a cool twist if the "cancer" is really just how they are holding his wife hostage. He succeeds in killing the President, and they take away whatever is making her sick.

But technically the plan didn't fail. Brian's plan was to get his family to that bus station at 2:45pm so the three of them could get the hell out of dodge. That worked! Brian may have been shot, but he had to have already calculated that his life would be at risk when he chose to sacrifice himself for the rest of the family. This episode was effective for me because of the execution of it: Brian devising the escape plan along with the family all doing their part to see it through. Good episode and the next one looks good too!

The camera needs to be pulled back on some of these close-ups - Miss Collette is slowly morphing into Tom Petty.

The flashback yippee I get to operate on the Prez scenes were corny bad. I didn't care if they were put there to contrast the family's present dire situation but much of it came off as filler.

Despite its flaws, I am also sucked into this serial every week.

You know, I asked my mistress for money once for a family getaway and got slapped in the face.

I'm up to this episode now
this show isn't good but it's not bad enough to completely eject from yet
this would have been better as a 3-4 episode miniseries
this dragging it out of them trying to live a normal life for 2 weeks is ridiculous
