Ooof, that sucks. Won't prevent me from watching it, but disappointing to hear. Although I thought Luke Cage was already mediocre.

Cage had good actors/performances, but really slowed down action-wise (and got repetitive just watching someone get shot constantly, and bash through people). Was hoping for some more action choreography this time, but sounds like it takes forever to get anywhere with Iron Fist.

Damn. I generally agree with Sepinwall. Well... I'll still watch this regardless. I'd be curious to see if this will be the first of the Defenders show not to get a renewal. This could be a red flag for Inhumnas, since Scott Buck is running that show too.

From my Marvel comics-reading days, Iron Fist was one of those characters that always felt like it's someone I'm supposed to like, but held zero appeal to me. Ditto Luke Cage, Cloak and Dagger, Alpha Flight, Power Pack, etc. Seems like they either had a very small but vocal fanbase or they were pimped out hard by certain folks in editorial.
