How much of SHIELD did you watch? Post TWS crossover?
Anyway back on topic. I think this looks somewhat interesting. The big question mark will be how the handle the super heroics part of it. Still dissapointed we didn't see a view of his actual costume. And if this trailers tone shows anything, it's that we really need a Punisher TV series on cable.

I will say that every time people talk about that show it's always "Dude the show became so amazing after TWS!!" And while I admit that the show did get slightly better it still wasn't that great and was never must see TV for me. Arrow and Flash completely blow it away.

The show hasn't maintained nor gotten close to its TWS moment. It just feels like a cheap kind of show. It has a budget but..still feels cheap.

Honestly, how can anyone gauge the budget for a show based on around 2 mins of footage (much of which is very dark). Get a grip.

So even if the TV budget is half the movie budget (which would be a conservative estimate) you then also still have to spread the TV budget across a production that is 4 times longer.
So if GOTG and Avengers had a $200 million budget, that is $100 million per hour. If Daredevil has half the budget ($100 million), spreading that across 8 hours makes it only $12.5 million per hour.
So comparing TV budget to movie budget is really not a good idea at all.

This looks fantastic. There is nothing more to say.
But the talk of cheap looking is just preposterous. Daredevil is not a flashy hero, so making it so would defeat the point. The trailer hits all the right notes and the Kingpin looks terrifying. Excellent job on this one Marvel.

Netflix shows, like those from premium channels, are typically closer to 1 hour in length than 43 minutes because they don't need to sell advertiser ads. Of course just like HBO/Showtime shows, each episodes' length does vary; but I am expecting something close to an hour per episode.

That was my major beef with Ritter - too skinny. And those pictures reinforce that. She looks like a lollipop. No way Luke Cage would be into that.

The Daredevil teaser looked great to me. I like the darker, grittier portrayal than what we've seen elsewhere in the MCU. It seems particularly fitting for the Daredevil character and I'm excited to see where they take the series without the same restrictions they might face on network television. It was great to see glimpses of the supporting characters and based on his track record I think D'Onofrio is going to hit it out of the park as Kingpin. Liked the tease of Daredevil's radar sense too.

Not that it affects Cage but.. skinny girls can be fucked in oh so many positions and places. I'm not a fan of skinny girls personally but I've had some fun w/ it too.

It's more complicated than just that though. A movie is typically 2 hours. A TV season is a lot longer. Daredevil is 8 hours (12 episodes times I would assume 40 minutes per episode divided by 60 minutes per hour equals 8 hours). So even if the TV budget is half the movie budget (which would be a conservative estimate) you then also still have to spread the TV budget across a production that is 4 times longer. Eka Darville ("The Originals"), Erin Moriarty ("The Kings of Summer") and Will Traval ("Red Widow") have all joined the cast of the currently in production Netflix series "Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones".
The thirteen-episode series, starring Krysten Ritter as the titular former superhero turned detective, is due to premiere later this year.
Darville plays Malcolm, a neighbor of Jessica’s whose own journey will intertwine with her quest. Moriarty is Hope, a young girl who becomes a client. Traval plays an NYPD cop who takes his job very seriously.
The trio joins a cast that includes Mike Colter, Rachael Jones, David Tennant, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

Hope?

Yes, yes, i know Fox owns all things x-related... Or wait, does that apply to TV series? And does Netflix qualify as TV?
