JAKE GETS SOME M.E. TIME ON AN ALL-NEW "BROOKLYN NINE-NINE" TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8, ON FOX

Mary Elizabeth Ellis ("It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia") Guest-Stars

Much to the team's annoyance, Jake hits on an attractive medical examiner, Dr. Rossi (guest star Ellis), at a crime scene and holds up the autopsy report. He learns his lesson when Dr. Rossi turns out to be more than he bargained for. Meanwhile, Amy's purse-snatching case is stalled when the sketch artist is out sick, but she discovers that Sgt. Jeffords has hidden artistic talents in the all-new "M.E. Time" episode of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE airing Tuesday, Oct. 8 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (BRK-106) (TV-14 D, S)

The flashback to the waitress and Perolta's night together was hilarious.

Show keeps getting funnier.

The flashbacks with Perolta's night were hilarious. When we see him sprawled on the floor

The stuff with the Captain's facial expressions was worthy of a chuckle as well.

I can't explain why, but I think Fox should pair this up with Bob's Burgers. It doesn't fit with New Girl/Mindy, and nothing fits with Dads.

Highlight of the night. The "morgue sex" stuff and flasbacks were hilarious.

I'm liking this show. Funny episode with the "dead" sex.

Looking at the title, did I miss a Gary Numan reference? Lol

Doesn't make sense even a little bit.

Actually this would work better paired with Raising Hope (which has been moved to the Friday "dead zone") instead of Dads which is IMHO would have been better off being called "DEAD".

I've thought the same thing. The humor fits more in its Sunday night lineup than it does with the other live action comedies. Sort of how they had Malcolm in the 8:30 Sunday slot for most of its run.

Maybe with American Dad! ending its run on Fox this season they'll test the waters again since I don't believe they have another animated series in the pipeline. But, as Sons of Tucson showed, it may not work. Still I think Brooklyn Nine-Nine is too good to be passed up if Fox axes it. Maybe it could fit in on [adult swim]'s live action block.

Actually, they do. Murder Police. Which ironically enough, is a bit similar to Brooklyn, even down to the feisty Latina (although MP's Latina is the public defender).

I can kinda see how Brooklyn Nine Nine could pair with Bob's Burgers, as Bob's is pretty sarcastic too. Very different from the other Sunday shows. But there's no way Fox is breaking up their "Animation Domination" lineup.

I too hope that this show doesn't get killed by the Dads lead-in. Fox should try to get one more decent live action sitcom for this Tuesday night block. I like all the characters on Brooklyn, but Rosa is still my favorite. "I despise small talk. Let's just drink in silence."

Nope. Fox pulled the plug on it the other day. So that timeslot is still vacant.

BNN has more absurdist humor which I think fits it in fine with Fox's other animated programming, although a Bob's Burgers/BNN hour would be awesome.

[Johnny Carson]I did not know that. That is some wild and wacky stuff[/Johnny Carson]

Ah, it wasn't that good anyway. I saw the pilot at Comic-Con, and maybe 40-50 people showed up for it. If you premiere a new Fox animated show at Comic-Con and can't get people to come see it, you don't have much of a chance.
