Ugh .... I really hate it when actors I like are in shows that are terrible ...... I'll give this another shot or two, but if things don't get better I'll skip the rest of the season.

I didn't think it was that bad, especially for a pilot.

Re: We Are Men (CBS) - Series Thread

I thought it was decent, but the ratings were horrible.

Worst ratings for a CBS debut comedy ever.

That being said, CBS isn't the monday night juggernaut it once was. How I Met Your Mother is the only show fairing well for CBS. Even 2 Broke Girls is getting smoked by Sleepy Hollow. Odds are that Mike And Molly will be brought back sooner than later to shore up the night.

And We Are Men will be the odd man out. Maybe if The Millers flops on Thursday, Men might have a shot. Hell, it would fit in better there anyway.

it was ok. i'm in for the long haul, though, because I love Jerry O'Connell and Tony Shaloub.

Maybe Jerry O'Connell needs to take off his shirt more.

I thought it was really funny, although I could easily see myself getting tired of the same shtick every week.

It was better than the new Thursday NBC comedies. But that's not saying much.

New show: "We Are Cancelled"
starring TV poison royalty Jerry O'Connell & Rebecca Romijn (fresh off TNT's King & Maxwell)
with Kyle Bornheimer, David Walton, Jason O'mara, Lindsay Price...

Ha, I just watched the pilot episode last night. It wasn't the worst sitcom this year, just kind of mediocre. Oh well.

You got to be kidding me. This show was fun and entertaining.
Why do networks bother. Do they want everyone in the US to watch or what?

CBS is on a roll.
CAMP, Moms, Hostages, We Are Men ... what else did they can in their short list of new shows?

I liked this better than The Millers. It was middle-of-the-road for me, but not surprised. Jerry O'Connell can't catch a break.

I wouldn't be surprised if "We Are Men" was an expensive program to produce with three name actors in it... Kal Penn, Jerry O'Connell, and Tony Shalhoub.

Since it wasn't a hit out of the gate, CBS decided to cut their losses.

Re: We Are Men (CBS) - Series Thread

It still makes me laugh when a show gets canned after 2 episodes. Why even bother making it?

Re: We Are Men (CBS) - Series Thread

I suggested they take remaining episodes and put them online. You already spent the cash on making them and paying everyone. Get a little back by putting it on iTunes or Amazon.

Re: We Are Men (CBS) - Series Thread

/\ How many people would be willing to pay for them?

If they weren't interested when it was free, they sure aren't going to drop a few bucks on iTunes or Amazon.

Perhaps relegating to Netflix, where the cost isn't perceived by the consumer. Perhaps.

Re: We Are Men (CBS) - Series Thread

Well, I predicted that one of the new CBS comedies, or Lucky 7 would be the first show canceled. Looks like I had a couple of good guesses.

Re: We Are Men (CBS) - Series Thread

Last year CBS eventually burned off the remaining episodes of "How To Be A Gentleman" on Saturday nights. I think that was also cancelled after two episodes. They may do the same thing for this show.

According ro IMDB there's 6 eps. I know theres no chance but Id be into buying a single disc release.

Ill admit the show had problems but I loved the cast and concept (always wanted to live in one of those divorced guy apt buildings...do they even exist?)
