Really loving this show. Enjoyed this episode more than the pilot. Didn't expect the twist at all.

That was pretty solid.
Yes, I too didn't see the reveal coming that Campo was actually the villain.
This was a case where the Blacklist actually helped bring out a bigger and nastier baddie.
James Spader is just fantastic in this show. Reddington just seems tailor made for him.
Megan Boone has to be the luckiest young TV actress right now. She was a pretty much a no-name actress and now she's on one of the most high profile new shows of the year. Plus, the show is airing in dozens of international territories. Talk about major exposure.
Looks like Parminder Nagra has officially joined the cast. I read she signed on as a regular as well.
The preview for the coming weeks looks pretty sick.

The show is growing on me (was kind of "meh" on the pilot). Spader's character pretty much holds this thing together. Pretty good story of the week and a good twist on it. Based on the conversation in the restaurant of Red saying Liz can pretend to be his daughter, I'm guessing they are not heading in that direction (or are being pretty damn obvious about it)
Just one pet peeve - hasn't the shaky cam effect during a foot race been played out by now?

Yes I really liked this episode. Spader is fun to watch in this role. His character lets me look past the FBI not having every conceivable exit covered at the restaurant.

Outside of Hannibal, The Blacklist is the best thing to air on NBC in years. It will be interesting to see how they maintain the credibility of keeping an international criminal around the government. It's fairly apparent the writers have more surprises planned for the FBI profiler's life.

Nice twist. Funny how Red can just waltz out of a restaurant. No way that would ever happen in real life.

Really enjoying this. Story has some good hooks, and performances are good too. Definitely keeping with this one.

So far it's been better than I expected so I'll stick around for a few more episodes. I do wonder if Liz will puncture someone's neck with a pen in every episode and if some random bad guy will jump off a roof in every episode.

Why not investigate her husband's supposed foreign passports using her resources instead of relying on what information she tries to get out of Reddington?

Paper trail. If she starts using official channels and resources it can open up a can of worms before she can do any damage control. It can happed with the information from Reddington but she will have a head start to mitigate the fallout.

For some reason I thought the husband would have disappeared by now, so I was surprised he was still in a coma at the hospital.
I'm a bit confused about the Freelancer. I thought his big thing was making the hit seem like an accident. When she first took a sip while she was giving that speech, I suspected a drugging, but that didn't seem to fit his MO. Also, wouldn't the guy who was the contact between Reddington and the freelancer get the hint once the police raided the place where the dropoff happened?
Did I miss it, or how did the FBI lose track of Reddington a second time, allowing him to get in the hotel room? That guy can just come and go as he pleases.

I thought they chipped Reddington? And after everything, maybe the whole story about the 'freelancer' was bogus so Reddington could get close to the target to begin with.

Awesome news with the full season order.
It's only 2 episodes in, but glad that NBC actually has an action-drama that is doing well, getting decent reviews and isn't getting shit on by a lot of internet folks.

I think they probably should've limited this show to a 13-episode season and simply waited a little bit longer before they renewed it for a second season. 22 straight episodes of a show like this has the potential to become monotonous fairly quickly. I like this show but I'm not sure how I'd feel about watching such a long season of cat-and-mouse games and endless chases.
