Yeah that looks just like John Constantine. Perfect job. On another note, I never knew that Misha Collins look on Supernatural was based on Constantine.

Well done.

+1

I hope they don't tame his British accent for American television.

Good choice for maybe Ra's Al Ghul.

I think this actually has a pretty good shot on NBC at turning out very well. The ratings' expectations are so low that there is more creative freedom for a good producing team.

I'm so sick of Goyer, especially after that Dark Knight trilogy (which I hated). Let's cap that off with Man of Steel too! I haven't liked anything Goyer related since the first Blade movie.

Didn't realize somebody had cloned Rachel Weisz.

The trailer is very good...looking forward to this one, for however long it might last. ;)

Cool trailer.

Could be the perfect companion for Grimm on Friday nights.

I know Cerone's work from the 1st season of Dexter so I'm definitely in on this one.

That looks great. Hopefully the licensing fee isn't so high that the show only lasts a season.

That looks pretty darn good. All I have to base my knowledge of is the movie. Haven't read any of the comics/graphic novel.

That trailer was very well done and the effects look pretty damn great on a TV budget. This is certainly a nice step in the right direction for WB/DC. I am looking forward to seeing this show now....a lot.

Whoa! They made him British! They actually understood how important that is to the character! Maybe if Supernatural gets cancelled anytime soon, the show's whole fanbase will migrate. Cool trailer. Wonder if they'll get some Vertigo alums to write a few episodes. God, what an era for comics. I have to read some Hellblazer one of these days.

It's not Hellblazer without the cigs (I first wrote down EFF-AY-GEE-ES but was censored).

Would probably be an editing/continuity nightmare.

So, it looks like this will draw off the DC universe. Picture of a small easter egg in the Canadian version of the trailer.

I didn't think I could be more excited about this (which I was incredibly skeptical of when it was announced) until I saw that easter egg.

The good thing about Constantine is that he operates in a corner of the DC universe that doesn't really trample on the major superheroes. We could get a number of supporting magical players.

Zatanna, Phantom Stranger, Spectre, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Shade the Changing Man, Dead Man, Black Orchid, etc.

Zatanna, PS, Shade, and Swampy all showed up in the Vertigo series.

That was true before the New 52. Now in the New 52, Constantine is fully integrated into the main DC universe as part of the Justice League Dark.
