Entertainment Weekly Ranks Every Breaking Bad Episode

This was a fun read, but some pretty crazy ranking choices. The pilot at #31? That's definitely a top ten episode for me. The first shot of Walt's confession just grabs you with the right mix of humor and excitement in the pilot.

I enjoyed "Fly", but it gets way too much credit here. The episode is more comical than philosophical.

''Ozymandias'' should be #1 instead of ''4 Days Out''.

Thoughts on the list? I guess it depends on which element of the show you gravitate too. If the show is about Walt's and Jesse's relationship then #1 makes sense.

personally, the train heist in Dead Freight was probably one of the single greatest episodes of a television show I've ever seen.

Geez, I hate these lists where you have to cycle through photos to see each one.

Really? I was extremely disappointed with the entire first half of season 5

I don't understand the appeal for the Fly, it's not terrible but it's not insightful or deep either so what merit does it have? Pine Barrens did that whole 'bottle episode' thing way better

I enjoyed Fly MUCH more after reading this commentary on it:

Even if you disagree with it, it's a fun list to go through. Wish they were all on one page though. :(

What is with all the people who go crazy if someone has anything even remotely critical to say about this show? I swear, I've never seen anything like it (well, I've seen similar behavior, but never to such a large degree). There are so many people who are obsessed with Breaking Bad being proclaimed the best show ever and the most recent episode to air is the greatest episode in the history of television.

Not a fan of that list. Fly is the one episode I know I can skip over if I ever watch the series from start to finish, and 4 Days Out is pretty much an extended edition of a bottle episode. There's no real drama in watching two guys stuck in the middle of nowhere for an hour when you know they'll be out of there by minute 48. Both episodes just felt gimmicky, and that's one thing Breaking Bad is not.

Glad to see Crawl Space ranked so high. That ending is the closest any show has come to giving me a panic attack.

That is what it's about.
