JJ told Spence she was pregnant in the finale, so I assume they'll write in the 2nd kid.

Series exec producer Erica Messer suggests that they may not replace Kate, at least not immediately.

Aisha Tyler will be filling in for A.J. Cook while she's on maternity leave. Doesn't sound like she's there to replace Hewitt. It's only a recurring role. Plus she already has a job as one of the hosts of The Talk.
Cook will reportedly miss at least 5 episodes.

Paget Brewster is returning to Criminal Minds to help the BAU catch an international killer.
TVLine has learned that the CBS crime drama’s former series regular will guest-star in a springtime Season 11 episode when BAU team member-turned-Interpol Agent Emily Prentiss enlists her Stateside friends to track an elusive serial killer, convinced that his next victim will be on American soil.

Cool to see Prentiss back for 1 episode.
BTW, here's the promo for Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders with Gary Sinise

Looks pretty good and I like that it's an international action show taking place all around the world.

re: Criminal Minds (Moving to Paramount +)
The latest episode (the one where Morgan is abducted) was both repetitive and maudlin. Everyone else on the team except Rossi has been targeted by now. i guess it was Derek's turn. Communicating with his dead father is something the series did already (when Elle was on death's door after the Fisher King shot her), and that ending in the hospital was just unlike the character we know.

Tonight was Shemar Moore's final episode. He's leaving the show after 11 seasons.

Well, they wrote out Derek last night in probably the best way possible. Having his girlfriend be pregnant and then him proposing marriage after the hellish arc his character had. Garcia is not going to be the same without him.
Shemar said he's leaving the door open for him to possibly guest star in the future. I'm glad the writers didn't feel compelled to kill him off.
Of course on the Criminal Minds Facebook page lots of women are saying they're done with the show now that's he's gone. Go Figure.

For anyone who is still watching.
Paget Brewester (Prentiss) returns to the show tonight as a guest star.
Here's a promo with Brewster talking about coming back.

Deftones, do you still watch this? Seems like you were one of the few supporters of this.
Criminal Minds also has not been renewed for a 12th season yet. Cast contracts and the cost of the show are some hurdles right now. I still love this show even though Morgan just left. I'll watch it until the very end.

I do watch it, although I'm behind about 3 months. We are remodeling our house (past 3 months), so my wife isn't here living with me. We watch together, so we'll burn through them in the next month or so when my family moves back in this weekend.

Paget Brewster returning to Criminal Minds next season for multi-episode arc.
She said on her Twitter feed she's shooting a whole bunch of episodes.
If you recall in the finale, it was a major cliffhanger with a bunch of serial killers escaping from prison.

Also, Adam Rodriguez from CSI Miami was cast as a new regular. He's technically replacing Shemar Moore.

Thomas Gibson suspended after getting into a fight with a Producer on set.
Will be written out of possibly 2 episodes.
Also, he was scheduled to direct an episode and that was nixed because of the incident.
According to TMZ, the Producer/Writer reported him to HR.

TMZ is reporting that Gibson's job may be on the line and he could be fired from the show and written out.
I hope he doesn't get fired. That would be a huge blow to the show, especially now in it's 12th season.

It's just a matter how valuable they think he is to the show, without him ratings would fall. As much as I like Joe Mantegna, he can't carry it and I don't know who could (though I wouldn't mind if they just brought Gary Sinise to take over and forget about Beyond Borders).
