Sooooo.....

I thought it was a good episode. Some details were revealed that tie most of the story together. Finally.

Is this a miniseries or something? How can they reveal so much story and expect to continue this show over multiple seasons?

That said this show is really good and there are moments of humor that I'm not sure are intentional but completely awesome; the bit where the colleague cop says Sonya is a village idiot savant and everyone makes a goofy face, including Kruger's face when she left the room was rewind worthy.

:thumbsup: I enjoyed this one.

Now the pieces are finally coming together. I guess Marco isn't such an honorable man after all. The reveal that his wife is seeing the man who was married to the woman he was banging was an interesting twist.

This does feel like a 1 and done show. Not sure how this premise lasts multiple seasons. But, I'm not a TV writer who is played millions to come up with stuff like that. I'm sure Meredith Stiehm has a plan. After all, look at Homeland. That's now in it's 3rd season.

That was funny. As were the scenes between Ray and the bad ass Mexican woman.

Great episode, a lot of things were revealed, and in a very simple way to understand. I like how they have developed Marco through the season, he's a very complex character, in the beginning everyone thought he was just the "good" cop of the show.

And we still have 5 more episodes!

i am thinking that "the beast" may be the engineer mentioned by Adriana's sister in passing and is a separate, maybe season 2, case from Kenny and the Bridge/immigrant killings?

i hope they come up with something and can keep the show going as it may be my favorite new summer show so far.

off topic, but this has been a really good year for TV so far. nothing that felt huge pop culture consuming like the sopranos back in the day, but rectify, orphan black, the Americans, the bridge, (from what i hear) orange is the new black, banshee, great third season of the killing.

i was afraid at one point there were no more really new stories to tell and it would end up being rehashes of the same. nice to see how wrong i was.
