So we got some major ass nudity in The Americans, The League and now this. to FX

Stupid kid running away. Pretty much saw that was going to happen once she took off. I'm starting to think the killer is another LEO officer, but I'm sure they won't go that route.

That girl was all kinds of dumb.

How the hell did she get back to the US side much less to her dad's house?

At least this one wasn't as difficult to follow as the last one.

That girl who saved her from her own brother helped her get to, and presumably across the border.

Considering that she walked from the border to the kidnappers house, it'd be easy to walk back, and then it's not unreasonable to assume her dad's house isn't more than a couple miles from the border either. Realistically though, houses that nice probably aren't all that close to the border. :)

 Stupid girl. Once she ran off, I knew she was fucked.

 Gotta love the opening scene. Charlotte banging Ron Mexico.

In the scene where Marco went home to pick up some clothes, were they trying to hint that his wife may have banged her co-worker? Probably as payback.

Refresh my memory, the money that Marco returned to the drug dealer, did he get that in an earlier episode?

Yes, He got it in episode 4.

The FBI was taking their sweet time trying to get ransom money for that girl, Maria, who was frying to death in the sun.

That’s when the drug dealer gave it to him.

None of the girl running off to Juarez then running away there at the end made any damn sense to me. She just wanted to get raped/murdered/sold into slavery I guess.

No she was trying to show to her father that her mother could not take care of her so he would allow her to live with him. Not a great plan, really.

Anybody think the sketch artists rendering of the killers eyes looked very similar to
Spoiler:
Marco's wife's male friend?

I was by myself yesterday and decided to re-watch the series up to this episode. I enjoyed it much more, and really got sucked into the story. This is a show you have to give your full attention.

Only thing I'm wary of is that this killer is getting into Omnipotent Villain territory - he knows everything, sees everything, his plan is falling perfectly into place. Hope they have a good resolution in store.

I think we need to address if the tramp stamp on Anabeth Gish was real or just for the role/scene. :D

I don't have a problem with this, so long as the killer is involved with the police/FBI in some way. Otherwise it's gonna stretch believability. Of course since they police are already concerned that it might be someone on the inside, it most likely won't be.

This episode really strained credibility for me - so much of it was contrived and forced. I think Ted Levine is the inside man - it really makes NO SENSE at all to take that girl for a burger - it also makes no sense for a washroom to have a window like that at ground level for pervs to watch you take a shit...

ALL public restrooms on TV have large windows to climb out of, duh. Never seen one in real life though.

I've been working under the assumption the bad guy is
Spoiler:
the unbelievably skeevy cop with the Deadwood mustache.

This ep certainly strengthened my conviction.

It's not him, he was with the girl in the desert when they were chasing the bad guy around the bar.

The girl dying kills the momentum of them getting close to the guy. I think they will back off the serial killer part of the show and stretch out the story by dealing with the Mexican cop and the money.
