So...cancer is back, Hank knows, Walt knows Hank knows. The house is a shithole.
That has to be more than foreclosure but it looked less secured than crime scene...

Anyway, great kick off. That Hank/Walt confrontation was great.

If you don't know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly.

One of my favorite things about this show is they get right down to it without stretching things out. I thought of the first part of the season, when they were planning the heist at the police station. I figured it would take a few episodes to go down, and boom, it's over.
These are going to be action packed to say the least.

Awesome. Things moving along quite quickly here. Hank had his moment of shock after his revelation and they didn't waste a second getting Walt to find out Hank knew. That last scene between then was incredible.
The opening scene was equally incredible.

Does Skylar still hate Walt? It's been so long that I can't remember. She seemed like she didn't detest him anymore.
Freaking sweet to finally get the confrontation between Hank and Walt that I've wanted to see for so long. No idea where they take the season from here.

She doesn't. Not since he decided to quit the drug business. That happened at the end of last season.

To me that's the great unresolved question of the show: is Heisenberg a defense mechanism or the true man who is covered by a thin veneer of Walter White?

Should be interesting to see what Hank chooses to do. Just not in his character to let it go to protect the rest of the family, though that would be a realistic choice IMO.
Since he was tracking Walt he is going to know he went to Jessie's house. Hate to say it but Jessie is a real liability for Walt going forward.

I think the tracker has to be retrieved and its contents downloaded to know where Walt went but Walt found the tracking device before Hank was able to retrieve it.

Favorite moment.... Walt about to leave, puts his hand in his pocket and takes out the tracker, takes a breath and goes back in the garage.

Like everyone else, didn't expect the Walt/Hank confrontation this early. Very well executed.
Also loved Walt channeling Gus as the clerk at the car wash.
Lastly, small continuity error but when Hank goes to the bathroom at the end of 5A, the bathroom door opens the opposite way of when he walks out of the bathroom in the opening episode of 5B.
