Synopsis:

Enjoying a long-deserved vacation, Scott (Sullivan Stapleton) and Stonebridge (Philip Winchester) are recalled after a fellow Section 20 member dies while pursuing the elusive terrorist al-Zuhari in Beirut. A new lead sends them into the remote jungles of Colombia in pursuit of a known associate of al-Zuhari's and deep in territory controlled by a powerful drug cartel.

Premieres Friday night at 10pm, but thought I would post this now. This was my most anticipated show of the summer.

Rhona Mitra (Dalton) is back, even though she has a new TNT show next year. Dougray Scott is a new series regular.

Great start. Absolutely rocking 1st episode.

at Scott banging the bartender's daughter. Is that a record for the fastest that Scott ever got laid?

It was cool seeing the boys riding the bikes and having fun to start the episode.

and Holy shit!! Rhona Mitra (Dalton) was badass in this episode. She was totally channeling her inner Jack Bauer. at how she tortured the fat guy.

A little surprised that they brought back Rebecca from last season. You know she and Scott are going to get some sooner or later. But, I'd rather see him bang some random chicks than someone he has a connection with.

Nice cliffhanger with the Colombians using the RPG to take out their boat.

Directv has a free preview for Cinemax this weekend. Obviously if you don't subscribe, there probably is very little point to watching just 1 episode and waiting until 2014 for the BD to see the rest.


BTW, I like the new opening credits. Still using the same song, which I still love.

Funny thing to mention, this show is a co-production with Sky 1 in the UK, but they don't get to see the episodes until the Fall. Cinemax has first dibs on it.

Dalton was pretty badass, going psycho quite a few times.

Loved the talk about that fish in the river. "It'll never find your tiny cock." And then Scott later learning that Stonebridge was fucking with him.

Glad they did that flashback for that Moussad chick. I almost didn't recognize her.

That scene where Stonebridge jacked the boat was fucking awesome, as was the boat chase.

So Baxter was the new guy from last season? They kill off characters so frequently on this show I have a bad feeling about Richmond. And why couldn't Dalton have been naked taking an actual shower with her gun? The scene could've played out the same way.

So glad this is back and already better than some episodes from last season. I love the banter and humor injected to offset the violence and seriousness of the actual situation. Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton have great chemistry together. That opening with them on the bikes and Damian banging the bartender was classic Strike Back. Loved everything about this episode.
