Covert Affairs -- Season Premiere -- "Vamos" -- 7/16/13
Synopsis:
In the Season 4 premiere, Annie forges a professional relationship with Henry Wilcox while also adjusting to her new romance with Auggie. Meanwhile, Annie searches for a person of interest in Colombia.
16 episode 4th season
Season 3 was really good. Probably one of the most improved shows. Hopefully they cut up the darker/serialized storytelling.

It's great to have this show back! Looks like this season's episode titles will come from songs of The Pixies.
They're not wasting time--they've set up lots of conflict and intrigue already, especially around Arthur and Joan. The woman that Arthur was speaking with in the garage was Michelle Ryan (British actress, best known here from the failed Bionic Woman reboot and the Doctor Who special "Planet of the Dead)."
Personally, I'm don't like the Annie/Augie pairing. I think they work better as friends, and I think they'll probably be back to just friends by the end of the season.

Good start.
Loved the Colombia scenics. This is pretty much the only show on TV that doesn't fake international locations. USA must be really generous with the travel budget.
Yeah they definitely set up some conflict between Arthur, Wilcox and even Auggie. I was a little confused at the end when Arthur resigned from the DCS. He said extramarital affair was his reason. From what I can tell, he hasn't been married to Joan that long. The son looks like he's in his mid to late 20s. So he must be talking about his first marriage. I recall his first wife was seen in the first or second season.
Btw, Joan is actually pregnant in real life. Apparently Kari Matchett is/was due sometime this summer. Guess that's why they wrote it in.

It wasn't even an officially sanctioned mission. Annie received the file from Wilcox, which had dirt on Arthur and then flat out took off along with Auggie coming later.
What if another official mission came up?
BTW, I noticed they dropped the goofy opening credits. Now it's just a title card.
