Last currently airing TV show you watched?

I know not everyone here feels like writing a paragraph of commentary on every episode of TV they watched. Hopefully this thread will help. I figure you can just quickly mention the last few episode(s) of a currently airing TV show you watched whether live, streaming or from your DVR. You don't have to get too detailed. Stick to stuff that is currently airing on TV right now whether it's a Fall/Spring show or a summer show.

I'll start off:

Last Night:

Under the Dome: Episode 3 "Manhunt"

Bizarre Foods America: Hawaii

King and Maxwell Episode 2

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

Earlier on Monday I finished the last 6 episodes of The Middle.

I like how you can breeze through comedies relatively fast.

Sunday afternoon, I finished the last 5 episodes of what is most likely the final season of Army Wives.

Sunday night, I watched Dexter, Ray Donovan and The Killing

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

My "currently airing" list is down to three shows:

Top Gear
Venture Bros
Mythbusters

Dexter would be on that list but I'm a season or two behind.

Right now I'm watching Drunk History. First segment was funny. I am also drunk though so that may make a difference.

Watched episode 3 of Necessary Roughness current season

So far, good reboot of the show. John Stamos was a good addition. I like that Dani is no longer with the football team and is working with more clients outside of football. Getting rid of the kids helped (at least the son)

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

NBC's tinkering with American Ninja Warrior has almost ruined the program, at least the episodes which air on the primary NBC channel. They hired some no-name, ex-NFL player as an "analyst" and his commentary is absolutely moronic. The NBC episodes are also loaded with the failed attempts by the few women willing to give the difficult courses a try, in a desperate attempt to expand their female viewership.

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

There's a thread like this in DVD Talk, where people just list episodes of shows they watched. Never understood the purpose of it. Maybe we could use this thread to talk about shows that don't get much discussion.

Agreed, especially about excising the kids. The changes have breathed new life into that show.

Another (so far) improved show is Franklin and Bash. The writing has been sharper this season, and I've been getting a lot more laughs than in the uneven prior seasons.

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

Tonight's menu included:

Falling Skies (TNT) from Sunday

Crossing Lines (NBC) from Sunday

Rizzoli and Isles (TNT) from tonight

Falling Skies and Crossing Lines were okay. Rizzoli and Isles was a terrible episode. I go into a little more detail in the episode threads.

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

Also watched Mistresses episode 4 tonight.

I know it's a soap primarily geared for women, but I actually like it. Eye candy aside, I think the stories and conflicts with these ladies has been compelling. The character the stands out is Karen played by Yunjin Kim from Lost. I also like Jes Macallan who plays Joss. They are definitely hinting something between Joss and her client/friend.

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

I watched:

Copper - BBCA - good show though the accents are sometimes hard to understand and there can be too many plot lines going at a time
Warehouse 13 Finale - show that helps fill my scifi hunger without having to think too much
Counting Cars - couple episodes that were recorded for mindless entertainment

I have a few series that I have not started yet but are looking forward to watching in marathon mode:
Orphan Black
Rogue
Hannibal
The Killing

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

Watched:

Orange is the new black (Netflix): Episode 1

6 episodes of The Client List. Finished season 2. I enjoyed season 2 quite a bit. Jennifer Love Hewitt was good as the lead Riley Parks. The show has a good supporting cast and even though it has sort of a sleazy premise, it's nothing like that at all. It's more about a mother doing whatever it takes to help her family.

I heard it hasn't been renewed yet because Hewitt is preggers and she wants it written in with her co-star/fiancé to be the father. But Sony doesn't want to do it.

Not a TV show, but watched Sharknado on SyFy tonight. Horrible, yet entertaining. I go into it more in the Sharknado thread.

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

I have been watching the repeats of The Following on Fox. I recorded it when it first aired but lost most of the season in a DVR failure. Glad they are re-airing them now so I can catch up.

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

Finished 3 episodes of Mad Men season 6 specifically episodes 8-10

The last one I finished was when Don and Roger went to California. I admit, I got a little lazy and fell behind. The season hasn't been outstanding, but it's still good TV.

Re: Last currently airing TV show you watched?

Anyone else watching Sinbad? The guy they cast as Sinbad is very good in the role. It's a better show than I expected, considering SyFy dumped it on Saturday nights.
