Oh no, it's Sunkist versus Ocean Spray again.

It'll probably be a TV vs print debate.

Actually looking forward to the episode tonight after the last few as the season has picked up a bit.

I'm very angry at my TiVo for missing the first 5 minutes. I'm glad we were planning to watch fast forwarding through the commercials.

Oh jeez it is Ocean Spray and Sunkist.

Rosemary's Baby huh? Another Polanski hint. Hmm. Maybe they're trying to hint that Don is going to sexually assault a 13 year old instead of hinting at a death.

You did not just say that without a spoiler tag, unless your joking.

If you mean me with the Polanski, that's speculation. If you mean about Kenny, stuff that happens in the episodes is not subject to spoiler tags.

By the way, excellent call there.

Ohhhhhhh, Bob Benson is the new Don Draper. Nice. Pete is going to fucking die. He's a master manipulator.

I actually kind of like how Pete let him stay, didn't turn him in, keep your enemies closer & all that. Cool play, though I usually hate Pete.

So, it seemed Ted totally realized what he'd done, and then he rips into Don for saving him. Don was super suave about it too: "We've all been there." And Peggy? "You're a monster." Well, actually he kind of is, but not for the reasons she thinks.

I am not certain what is motivating Pete. I almost think once he made the connection to Don he saw how he could exploit the situation and benefit. He owns the guy now, so he can get him to back the fuck off and also exert pressure when necessary.

The problem for Pete is that Bob seems increasingly aware of the potential he has. I'm not so sure Pete did the smart thing for Pete there. I really seriously think the potential for Pete misplaying the situation and getting physically murdered by Bob is high. Pete isn't the smoothest operator in the galaxy.

I really don't get how making everybody else miserable helps Don, but he fucking sure has a knack for it.

So twice Don is shown sleeping in the fetal position like a baby... in the first scene and in the very last shot just after Peggy tells him he's a monster. So basically Don is Rosemary's baby.

He's obviously still heartbroken and he doesn't like the sight of Ted and Peggy together - it's not just about business, he's jealous of what they kinda/sorta have.

I thought Kenny was a dead man.

The episode needed more Roger.

Ted's expression when he thought Don was going to "out" him was priceless.

Poor Ken. "They tried to stop for lunch on the way to the hospital"

It's always good to see Sally, but her interactions with boys is getting creepy. The actress is a couple of years younger than the character, and it shows.

I think after his miscalculation with Bert (re: Don/Dick), Pete decided that blackmail was safer than ratting Bob out. At SC&P, it seems that the almighty dollar comes before everything else. As Bert Cooper said so long ago: “Mr. Campbell, who cares?”

But that's the thing -- he seemingly could have just told Bob to GTFO and Bob was seemingly willing to do it. Then again, thinking about that it was almost like Pete was set on doing exactly that but thought oh jeez what if he goes to Bert the eunuch? I'd be screwed. Hmm. Well played, Vincent Kartheiser

Are they doing anything in particular with Pete's receding hairline? I know last season's premiere Roger asked in reference to Pete: "is he going bald?". Nothing came of it, but I'm noticing his hairline is receding more and more... and he seems to be the only one that's actually ageing noticeably on the show (he also seems to be getting a belly). Are the writers trying to tell us something in particular with Pete?

"Listen to the cyclops."

When Sally was in the car, looking out the window, was I the only one thinking she looks kind of like Abe Vigoda?

Are they trying to make Don an alcoholic? I mean, more so?

I think they're just trying to make him less appealing in the same way they've done with Betty at one point and have done with Sylvia as this season as gone on.

Isn't that sort of like asking if they're trying to make Don a philanderer?
