Goddammit! My Stark blanket just arrived last Friday and now this! Fuck!
And the guy assigned to kill the queen...ruthless mofo going for the unborn baby first
*edit*
Ok, now I get why the hbo.com store was having a sale on all things Stark related including free shipping only for stark items. Sneaky bastards

This one was just OK.
Had no idea what was going to happen, but when they first got there I thought they might kill Robb's wife right then so the show did make me feel something bad was going to go down.

I had to choose tonight between this and Mad Men since I got home too late to watch both. I figured since this was an episode 9, it might be a biggie that I wouldn't want spoiled. Man was I right about that.

Holy fuck that was shocking... But also not. This is the episode that will force me to read the books. Extremely well done. I love this show and how 'real' it is in the sense that the good don't always prevail, the ruthless do. It is the antithesis of all the superhero movies and good vs. evil nonsense out there.

Thought they did a fantastic job, but I had two small quibbles. Having Blackfish not there b/c he had to pee is silly. They should have just left him in Riverrun and brought back the Great John (the big guy from season one) for this season considering he was there and still managed to take a bunch of guys even though he was drunk off his ass.
Second, though I know they used wolves attacking earlier in the episode, I wish Grey Wind hadn't gone out like a bitch. In the book
I was hoping they would have Arya release him.

That was fun, even though I knew what was coming as a non-book reader, it was all pretty crazy to see. I'm not sure if I can think of another TV show where that many primary characters meet their fate (well sort of) in a single episode.
Thanks for those that described the Castamere song, thats very cool to know and something I didn't pick up on (as far as the song being played throughout the season). Does that mean that actual instrumental had to be made up for the show to match the lyrics?
Also cool to see Jon Snow kick some ass, and Rickon actually say and do stuff.

It's hard when the shocking moments of this event is spread over several minutes. I wish people would edit these down, as I agree it's a lot of nothing for a couple good moments. I did skip through most of it, knowing more or less where the good reactions would be. I thought it was worth it for the last minute or so.
