Ice Road Truckers Season 7 (6-9-13)

The return of Lisa Kelly. Also coming back from season 6 Alex,Hugh,Jack Jesse and Duane. Its all happening in Canada. The Dalton Hwy was starting to get old anyways. Wish they would bring back IRT Deadliest Roads. Much what Dave Redmond has said on youtube has been true(speaking of Ice Road Truckers).

Nice to see someone else starting reality/blue collar/small business TV threads. :)

IRT has been exposed as fairly fake, even before Redmon went rogue. I just wonder where they will be this time because Hugh wears out his welcome everywhere he goes.

Lisa and her bad teeth back and all if them being together? Might have to come back on board after ditching last season. Hugh and Alex back again? Ugh. So they're working for Hugh's company that we're not supposed to know is his company.

I'm never coming back to this shit. I've had enough of the stock footage of the POV from under the ice while the tire rolls over it.

I'll probably skip it. I skipped last season

that's what I figured. I don't know why I started watching originally but it was a guilty pleasure and was good to have on on my second monitor while doing other stuff
but as time went on it just wasn't enjoyable even as a background program

I just don't understand how Rick Yemm has a career. Who would hire him with that track record?

Ditto. I watched for the first couple of seasons I think and just gave up because of that (and the forced "conflict").

So here we go.

It's set in Manitoba, and the roads look truly nasty. Hugh is the boss of a new company called VP Express, competing with his old company, Polar Industries, which he has sworn to put out of business. Alex Debagorski and Lisa Kelly are working for Polar. Lisa got her snaggleteeth fixed. Either I never noticed or she has developed a major speech impediment. Hugh is off to being a douche, saying Lisa can handle the roads because she's a girl and not cut out for the roads. After seeing her on Deadliest Roads, I can say he's full of shit on that one. Those roads in India and South America were NASTY.

Darrell, the lower 48 veteran from last season who worked on the Dalton, is with Polar. Looks like he's had it rough, with a nasty divorce. Wisely, there is no Rick Yemm.

That's good and all but do they have the POV shot of the tire going over the ice?

Hugh is the one that can't handle rough roads. He speeds through them to resulting in truck and trailer damage, at least he did the last season I watched

Oh hell yes. And you see it like 15 or 20 times per episode, same as always.

She also looks like she's been on the Hugh Rowland diet since we saw her last. She's packed on some weight.

How can you tell with all the clothing she has to wear? It's 20 below zero.

Re: Ice Road Truckers Season 7 (6-9-13)

Once again, appalling unprofessionalism on the part of Hugh. Art's truck died and the man was left stranded and Hugh said it was all his fault and to leave him. he then did nothing but badmouth the guy who was guilty of nothing more than a truck breakdown and driving slowly because he was unfamiliar with the roads.

Lisa said she broke her wrist motobiking and had to improvise a wrist splint using duct tape, since it hurt to shift gears. She made the funniest facial expressions of pain.

Third year in a row that they are using one driver as a scapegoat and blaming him for all the problems.

Dave Redmon spills the beans again. Lots of NSFW language.

Well the season is over. Only 12 episodes instead of the usual 16. The show is losing steam I think. Nothing really of note happened except for Alex jackknifing his rig badly and totaling it. Seen Darrel get a bonus check and the farewell party after the roads closed was a nice touch, though.

Definitely not a job I would ever want to do.

I was going too say the same thing. Hardly a mention of the show on History.com and they don't seem to run re-runs that much on the History Channel.

I would be very surprised if there was another season.

Agree, but I was surprised there was a second season, so what do I know.

I don't know what but I immediately read this as Ice Cream Truckers and got kind of excited.

‘Ice Road Truckers’ star accused of kidnapping, assaulting Las Vegas prostitute

LAS VEGAS, NV (KVVU) — According to a criminal complaint obtained by FOX5 on Monday, reality television star Timothy Zickuhr is facing charges in connection with an incident involving a Las Vegas prostitute in late 2013.

Zickuhr is a star of Ice Road Truckers, which airs on cable channel History.

According to Zickuhr’s arrest report, on Dec. 19, 2013, a Las Vegas Metro police officer received a call from a man who said he, “…had Snow White, and if [the officer] didn’t bring $1,000 to a phone booth at Lynwood and Sahara, he was going to go to Mexico to kill Snow White.”

According to the report, “Snow White” is a Las Vegas prostitute whom the officer had given his phone number to in case she encountered trouble.

Police said Zickuhr continued to threaten the prostitute before briefly putting her on the line. She said, “Help me, he going to kill me,” according to the report.

After two more phone calls between Zickuhr and the officer, the officer was instructed to meet Zickuhr behind the Eureka Casino on Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas, the report stated.

Police met Zickuhr behind the Eureka and, following a brief foot chase, he was taken into custody.

According to the prostitute, she had agreed to meet Zickuhr at his Las Vegas apartment the day prior. She said he let her use his ATM card to retrieve money to pay for sex acts. Later, Zickuhr contacted the prostitute again, claiming she had withdrawn too much money and he wanted it back, the report said.

Snow White said she met Zickuhr, got into his car and went back to his apartment, where he punched her in the face and threatened to kill her. She went on to say Zickuhr locked her in a closet and instructed her to provide him with the phone number of someone who could pay the money owed him.

That’s when, according to the report, the prostitute provided the phone number of the police officer she knew.

The report further states that before Zickuhr met with officers at the Eureka, he made the prostitute jump from a second-story bedroom window of the apartment.

Zickuhr is charged with first-degree kidnapping, extortion and coercion.

He is scheduled to appear in court in May.
