Not really, this is the first time though CBS hasn't had a drama anchoring their Thursday nights @ 9 pm in a long time. Putting Person of Interest with two of their highest rated dramas can be a good thing.

Hell, I didn't even know she was on it. I don't care because I don't have any interest in CBS crime dramas (unless there's some special hook for it - like 1960s Vegas/Chiklis). Sorry I don't have the ability to watch every show on TV like you do. 
Some of us have limited time and make choices on what to watch.

I'm a working professional just like you. I don't sit on my ass watching scripted TV 24 hours a day, even though it is my profession (sports TV).

If it makes you feel better, I didn't watch her in Life either since she was always dressed in a plain jane way (since she played a detective). Is that the case in PoI? Fairly Legal was simply the perfect vehicle for her (it was a fun show with some seriousnous here and there) and her hotness IMO.
Hostages actually sounds interesting. Maybe Reckless, depending on where they stick it. I'll definitely check out the Robin Williams comedy.

I'll check out The Crazy One for Robin Williams, Hostages and Intelligence. Intelligence sounds like The Six Million Dollar Man meets Person of Interest.
Not super excited about Reckless, but it has a few actors I like including Shawn Hatosy and Georgina Haig.

Why are fifty year olds a bad demographic to attract? Isn't that a growing age bracket in North America?
From what I can see of the schedule, all of my favourite CBS shows - Elementary, Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-O - are on borrowed time. I don't see any up-and-coming replacements either. I just hope the DVDs all make it to stores, and none end on a cliffhanger!
From what I can see of the schedule, all of my favourite CBS shows - Elementary, Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-O - are on borrowed time. I don't see any up-and-coming replacements either. I just hope the DVDs all make it to stores, and none end on a cliffhanger!

The same reason teenagers and seniors are not the desired demographic they have more time to watch tv and it's easier for advertisers to reach them then people in their 20s,30s and 40s.

I mentioned it in the overall Network upfront thread, but it was made clear by their pickup of 4 new comedies that CBS was going to launch a new hour of comedy on their schedule.
I thought it would be Wednesday at 8, but really expanding Thursday made the most sense. Moving Person Of Interest lets them shore up a time slot that has been a problem for them on Tuesday. They don't lose much on Thursday, as they should still finish in 2nd at 9. It's also interesting that Two And A Half Men is on at 9:30, positioned to face Michael J. Fox, as opposed to being the 9PM anchor. I was surprised when NBC did the same thing, and it wouldn't shock me if one of them blinks and changes their schedule before the season starts.
I am surprised that Mike & Molly is being benched. It could become the new Rules Of Engagement. Maybe Chuck Lorre can't handle having 4 shows on the air at the same time.

CBS is always a joke, and this year is no exception. I suppose I'm too young to be their demographic but amount of crap on that channel is appalling (to ME of course :P)
Though Hostages and Intelligence look somewhat promising! But i'm sure CBS will find a way to turn those shows into by the book procedurals!

Just watched the previews for Intelligence and Hostages
Intelligence looks like it could be a pretty cool action procedural. A little bit of James Bond, Chuck and the Six Million Dollar Man.
