Looks like they're going to have an eight man jury this year with three finalists.
Presumably, they're going into the Sunday finale with five players, so it probably won't be a nine man jury with two finalists.
Sherri looks like a lock for the final. She's a perfect goat: Does nothing, wins nothing, makes no waves. You hardly know she's there.
I think Eddie's in trouble tonight unless he wins immunity. If he does, then Erik will go.

Had to know that was coming based on air time this season.
Dawn is so annoying. Don't care who wins, but hope it's not her.

Ungrateful bastards! (Yeah I know it's a game). Let's go Eddie or Erik.

That was cold. Nice move, Cochran! I'm seeing a Dawn-Sherri-Cochran final 3 with Cochran getting the win.

Man, that was rough. Producers doomed her with that reward challenge decision.

Fuckers!
We have to piece together Brenda's game from what few clips she had that made the air and from the secret scenes, but I think she played really well this time. She was a shrewd player last time, but not always likeable, which burned her. Her dad's advice was strong. While I was predisposed to like her, I thought she just exuded positive energy on the TV screen. I think she had a really strong shot at winning the game if she could have made it one more round. That having been said her edit this year indicated that was almost certainly coming. If the producers wanted this to be a surprise then Brenda should have been acknowledged earlier in the game and a presence at least since the merge.
Honestly, I don't blame Cochran or Sherry one bit. It was absolutely the right move for them. I don't really blame Dawn either, but it's a much dirtier move for her. It's all well and good to get to the finals, but she not really giving herself much of a chance to win.

That was brutal. Eddie for the win. For spite.

I bet Dawn threw tantrums to get everything she wanted as a child. Brenda should have let her go around toothless...
I don't blame Cochrane for the move. It was much less personal for him and I really hope he wins out of those that are left. If not him, then Erik or Eddie. I think I'll break my TV if Dawn wins.

Dawn has no chance. It's tough enough to pull off a win playing the lying/snitching/back-stabbing game ... but doing those things while crying and being emotionally needy to everyone? No chance. She has "zero votes at final tribal council" written all over her.
I think it's Cochran's to lose. If he's not in the finals, Erik would be the next favorite (sneaking in for the Fabio-style win). And if by some chance neither of them are at the finals, I'll go with Eddie (dumb as a box of rocks but he's got a good underdog story going for him).
And fuck the producers for being so transparent and predictable. They've been telling us all season Brenda's not worth following. And then with the challenge twist, Brenda's showdown with Dawn, hearing her say how Eddie is the no-brainer. It can't just be internet posters ... surely everyone viewing with half a brain can see these editing games coming a mile away.

She's such a positive person. This should also clear up the doubts from people who think she wasn't actually playing b/c we never saw any Brenda confessionals.

Wow. Is it just me or did the rc setup seem like nothing but a transparent attempt at drama to drive Dawn crazy. Whoever was winning that was gonna initially pick Dawn like Brenda did and also let everyone else see both loved ones.

It's such a horrible position to be in I don't know why people even try to win. She was fucked either way.

How can the jury not vote for a guy who's so iconic that even his mother calls him "Cochran"?
What does she call his dad? Big Cochran?
The show dressers should have put Mom in a sweater vest the way they did John in his first season.

Reward challenge:
Wasn't Brenda blowing smoke about "giving the challenge" to Dawn (in a Phillip-like move)? It certainly appeared that she was slipping, and she has never given up on a challenge yet.
Sad to see how genuinely hurt B was...as though she really expected a paypack for the reward challenge...but anyone expecting that giving up her reward will keep her safe in the next vote is naive.
Which is why when Jeff explained the options for Brenda's 'tough decision', I said out loud: "Decision? Let's go, Sis!"
[Edit: My wife reminded me that Brenda later said that she knew she couldn't last much longer in the challenge, so she didn't maintain that she just threw the challenge to let Dawn have the experience at the T.C.]

If the final three are Dawn, Eddie, and Sherri - can CBS just keep the million dollars?!
I'd love to see Cochran win this thing, but I fear he's got a big target on his back and no one who is really loyal to him. He's going to HAVE to win the next challenge, or I think he might be gone.

And I'd love to see Andrea sidling up to him and campaigning for an all-expenses paid luxury trip with unlimited credit.
So glad that the 'loved ones reunion' is over. I know they're tired and hungry, but it's funny to see their sobbing & posturing contrasted with the calm of their loved ones who have been separated for the same amount of time. At least Eddie just looked pleased to see his dad instead of going through the tear-shedding routine that has become obligatory.
Don't they ever have anyone who's HAPPY to get away from their relatives for a month? What about the chick who ditched her husband while out there to take up with another contestant kind of like the newlywed chick who threw over her husband to become Jerry Seinfeld's squeeze?
I liked Dawn her first time around, but now I can see why she lost her teeth.
Getting tired of the fake teasers, too, in which an advertised "crisis" or "meltdown" is dealt with in the first ten minutes and then it's business as usual.
