Here we go with Dwight as manager, this is actually great...FINALLY!
Creed, as amazing as always.
Awesome of Dwight to give Jim his seat back, and then offering Jim the assistant regional manager and Jim wanting assistant TO regional manager. Fantastic.
They should have done this at the end of LAST season and then have had Dwight be the manager all of the final season. What a stupid screw up on their part.

FINALLY a couple good episodes. They still have to tie up the Jim/Pam and Dwight/Angela storylines, but everything else (I think) is finally wrapped up.
Especially loved Kevin saying Andy would never make it because he's too charactery and that he's not fat enough to be a character actor. Think they've been reading these threads. :P

Obviously, this episode's focus was on bringing many of the season-long stories to a conclusion. Unfortunately, it was void of many laughs. My favorite moment was probably the one mentioned earlier - Dwight giving Jim his desk back in his first official manager act.

Good episode, I think the show will wrap up nicely with the final two.
By the way, I know Carrell said he wasn't going to be in the finale, but I think he will (he was at the filming of the finale).

Yeah, this was one of the better episodes in a while. It had the feel of the better seasons. I did think the first half was funnier. Everyone ripping on Andy was pretty good. His annoying transformation into clueless pseudo-Michael Scott is complete.
There is some hope that the show will finish out on a high point.

I loved when Kevin asked "what do you think that was about?" after Angela's phone call.
I know the show has hit some low points the past few seasons but I'm really excited to see the last episodes. Even though the show is way past it's prime it's still a bummer to see it go. There aren't a lot of shows that I've been loyal to for over 7 years.

Angela's breakdown was a little rough for me, a bit too serious for the show.
Andy's character has been so shitty the last season and a half, so I agree they should have done this earlier.

Good episode
Why is Angela broke? she always had cats, and was able to pay her bills before she met the Senator. The addition of the child shouldn't be that much of a factor - she will be collecting child support (there is no way a Senator would not pay child support)
Here we go with Jim and the Philly crowd selling their company for millions of dollars! Poor Jim, he is giving up millions of dollars to be with his wife... wait.. what is this.. a change of heart from Pam... Se WANTS him to go on the road so he can become a millionaire!! What a sweet couple.
Remember kids - a start up always results in a buyout or public offering and you becoming rich.

As a whole I loved the episode. In parts it was okay. I wonder how the cast didn't all choke up at Andy's good buy rendition of I Will Remember You.
What was the deal with Erin when Jim and Pam turned down her offer? It was really over the top and not addressed again. She also seemed WAY too excited at Dwight getting the manager job. In fact, I think everyone was way too excited considering that he didn't do that great a job as interim.

The group had to put up Nelly, Robert California, and Andy (who was able to take 3 paid months off and not lose his job - the group is really bitter about that).
So after all that - Dwight, believe it or not, is a welcome change to the manager role.

First good episode in a LONG time. Dwight's utterly sincere joy at getting the job was just awesome.
Loved this part:
Dwight: "I had my change to become manager but then I fired that gun."
David Wallace: "What?"

I agree, best episode in forever. And they should have had Dwight manager the entire season. I've always HATED the Andy character though and if he was real he'd need to be murdered.

Oh, and Dwight already having "Dwight Schrute, Manager" business cards in his pocket and David Wallace's response of "Why do you already have those?"
