Ha. Nice blindside.

I'm glad she is gone. "What!?!?"

Re: Survivor: Caramoan -- "The Beginning of the End" -- 5/01/2013
Eye candy gone. Wish it was Brenda. Was hoping Erik would flip the vote.
Andrea's reaction was pretty good. At least she took it well and wasn't as bitter as some that have been blindsided. |
Re: Survivor: Caramoan -- "The Beginning of the End" -- 5/01/2013
Brenda is annoying.

Re: Survivor: Caramoan -- "The Beginning of the End" -- 5/01/2013
As usual the people that could not fend for themselves on an island without help are left. Surprise, surprise. Survivor, yea right.

Re: Survivor: Caramoan -- "The Beginning of the End" -- 5/01/2013
Good thing they're not actually stranded on an island then. Instead they're playing a strategic game where it doesn't really matter how strong you are, how many fires you can start or how many guys at DVDTalk want to bone you.

Usually, I'd agree with you, but this time around I really don't see one person left that I would be happy to see as a Survivor winner other than Cochran. Even going back to when Tina (was that her name?) beat a more deserving Colby, you just didn't feel so badly about the winner because she was likable and had played well enough to be happy for her. I just can't say that about the likes of Brenda, Eddie, Erik, Dawn or the blonde lady I don't pay any attention to at all.

Re: Survivor: Caramoan -- "The Beginning of the End" -- 5/01/2013
If Cochran makes it to final 3, he should be a lock to win. I'd be happy with either him or Brenda winning (preferably Cochran).

Re: Survivor: Caramoan -- "The Beginning of the End" -- 5/01/2013
With Andrea gone I can't see any way in which Cochran doesn't win. They have set up Eddie,Erik and Sherri as idiots,Dawn as mental and Brenda was ignored the first 7-8 episodes and her storyline is setting up to be betrayed by Dawn.

Re: Survivor: Caramoan -- "The Beginning of the End" -- 5/01/2013
It was Brenda's plan to blindside Andrea and the editors made it look like Cochran was the mastermind.
Also it looks like ill have to deal with an annoying stepchild. FML. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BEKqzdKCEAIrE9Q.jpg |

While slightly entertaining to see Andrea's shock at being voted out, this episode was pretty dull. The voting results were obvious in both tribal councils.

I just hope they don't put another hidden idol in play.

The reactions from Malcolm and Reynold when Andrea was getting voted out were priceless.
I agree with the poster that said at least Andrea didn't whine and bitch about beling eliminated...she took it in good fun. Kudos for that. |

Just glad to see dolphinboy posting. Was afraid he'd be on watch after the second vote.
Would love to see Erik, Sherri, & Eddie in the Finals. It'd be a hoot hearing their explanations why they should get the dough. |
Re: Survivor: Caramoan -- "The Beginning of the End" -- 5/01/2013
Just watched the episode, which was preempted last night because of a bunch of May Day hooligans raising a ruckus downtown.
Agreed that Andrea's reaction was priceless, and she was a great sport. Damn, she looked cute, though, and it was even more pronounced when they later cut to the horrible-looking people like Sherri who are still left. Erik isn't much of a strategist, but he's always been a physical threat so it was good to see him finally show it. It was pretty lame of him to drop out of the balance challenge, but he could make a case that he got rid of a competitor at the same time. While Erik is my pick in the DVDTalk game, I think Cochran would be the most deserving winner. |
