Synopsis:

The Night's Watch takes stock. Varys (Conleth Hill) meets his better. Arya is taken to the commander of the Brotherhood. Daenerys exchanges a chain for a whip.

First half was kind of slow, but the second half made up for it in spades. Final shot was awesome!!!

Now, that's what I'm talking 'bout.

This episode encapsulates what Storm of Swords is like...breakneck pacing, momentous events in every chapter. If anything, the suspense & surprises in the book have much greater impact.

After the understandable early catching up episodes, the story dragons have been unleashed.

Huge props to the location scouts, costume designers, set builders, CGI artists, and everyone else involved in creating the atmosphere.

Loved the preview. Maisie can really deliver a "Burn in Hell" line.

Hah! I had a feeling Daenerys could understand that arrogant prick the whole time. Glad it turned out that way. Same with the dragon double cross. Perfect, but what a fool the guy was.

That was a real WTF moment with Theon's 'rescuer.'

This was definitely an awesome episode. Dany has now become such a real threat - if the folks on Westeros were real, I would be worried for their well being which is unfortunate since I am rooting for a few of them. We'd been told how dangerous dragons were since the start but it wasn't until now that I starting thinking she could really conquer the seven kingdoms.
