Synopsis:

After making a decision that infuriates Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies) proposes a life-changing challenge for Rebekah (Claire Holt). Caroline (Caroline Accola) finds that her carefully laid plans for the perfect Senior Prom night are disrupted by Elena (Nina Dobrev), so she turns to an amused Klaus for a solution. Determined to get through to Elena, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) both attend the prom, but the evening begins to spiral out of control despite their efforts. When Elena suddenly lashes out in a way no one could have predicted, Matt (Zach Roerig) turns to Rebekah for help. Finally, Bonnie (Kat Graham) makes a terrifying discovery, and Klaus receives a message that could change everything. J. Vampire Diaries has had almost pitch-perfect and fresh storylines since its beginning, but Silas has been badly overhyped. His "backstory" is shockingly thin and weak for a character they could have literally pulled from any era of history. Were we supposed to be stunned at the reveal of his face this week?

This season is definitely at the bottom of all seasons, still good but not as great as it was. Elena so annoying lately.

Reminds me how much I hated Damon during most of the first season. Elena is a bit different because of all the history so far yet she is insane, stop trying to kill your friends! Damon was an idiot for having her shut down her emotions, people feel, so now they will have to deal with all of that because she has not along with trying to kill her friends and killing a completely innocent person.

I hope Bonnie gets to keep this level of power.

I just want Rebeka and Matt to hook up. More importantly, I wish Katherine would get killed. And who is the girl in the cast picture all the way on the left? She doesn't look familiar.
