Just went to a 2nd overtime hole, have to figure that they will stop it when it gets dark(maybe after this hole?). Still looking at a 9:15-9:30 start for TAR, would be my guess.

Edit: It's over, pretty great finish. Looks like they are going to wrap up around 7:55 pm est.

Switchback task was weak...my fave team even weaker for not transporting the cheese properly using the sleds. But I'm going to miss Chuck & Wynona's sound bites.

Can't wait to see Chuck and Wynona on Divorce Court this fall.

I know Team Youtube isn't popular around here, but they really kind of got screwed over between having to wait on Wynona to finish her climb and missing the train to getting bad directions.

I'm sort of surprised that they didn't make Chuck and Wynona go back and redo the cheese sled before giving them their clue since they didn't do what they were supposed to.

All in all, it was kind of a shit episode. Seemed like thirty minutes of riding trains and ten minutes of sledding cheese wheels down a hill. And dragging those fucking gnomes around, which is about the worst fucking product placement ever.

Does nothing but constantly berate his wife but incurs a 30 minute penalty and "This is the worst thing I've ever endured. I'm embarrassed, ashamed, and upset."

Totally missed the episode due not knowing about the delay and my DVR missing it. Looked on my CBS on demand and for some reason they don't carry The Amazing Race.

Honestly, this happens year round on Sundays with CBS. Why they even have a set prime-time schedule for Sundays is beyond me.

Yeah although I love the show I'm totally fustrated by this and will probably just give it up. So annoying.

My kid was watching for the first time in about a month and said "They're still here?!" when Chuck and Wynona appeared.

Yeah, I kinda expected them to have to redo the challenge--in retrospect, 30 minutes was not that bad a penalty. I did think at the time that they were flinging the cheese with a little too much gusto.

Yeah, Youtube didn't get any breaks, but while they got stuck behind Wynona on the cliff, the other teams got stuck behind Katie on the slope. For all her whining, I wonder how close to 30 minutes they were behind C&W. I half-expected her to collapse and miss it by two minutes.

For once I actually got the DVR padding right since I was watching the Masters live. But it sure is poor planning that this show regularly gets shafted by various sporting events and then isn't available On Demand through Comcast. I've gotten spoiled by shows that re-air later the same night or can be watched the next day so when my recording of AR gets hosed I just shrug and move on.

I'm going to miss Chuck's hair.

Every season of Amazing Race, I always pad 1 hour per episode because I know CBS will screw me if I didn't.

I couldn't disagree with this statement more. Wynona came across as a petulant little child this whole season. This is truly the opportunity of a lifetime and instead of doing everything possible she did nothing but complain the whole race. Chuck carried that team this whole way and he deserved to berate her if even for a little bit.

I agree. They obviously knew what the race would be like and she still decided to go on the show. Most people would love to be in that position and she wasted it by complaining and giving up in almost every challenge.

I got the impression from Chuck and Winona that this was one of those teams where one member (Chuck) is a big fan and really wants to do the race, and the other member is there just to support the other person but isn't as into it (Winona). Very rarely do such teams fare well.

Sort of sounded like Chuck has a deep seeded hatred for Wynona there at the end when he said she stayed at home and he was out running and doing things. Like maybe she stayed home and packed on the pounds and Chuck doesn't like it. Still she was completely useless on pretty much every challenge.
