Excellent episode after last week's weaker episode. Also caught Hendricks great scotch commercial while skipping through commercials.

Great episode! Love seeing Don work a client like that.

The ketchup thing was a bit predictable with Peggy, but will make for some interesting friction.

Yeah this episode felt more in the swing of things to me. I liked seeing Trudy put Pete in his place. Pete always thinks he's such hot shit but always seems to blow things for himself eventually. Also I agree that the Heinz Ketchup thing seemed kind of obvious but it should give Peggy a decent storyline.

Trudy is so manipulative (not that Pete isn't). It will be interesting to see just exactly how she wields the power she has. She's definitely no Betty, and that's a damned good thing.

I plan to watch this episode again (as I typically do with all MM episodes). I didn't think it was as strong as the season premiere...maybe because Roger was barely in this one. ;)

So far this season isn't really doing much for me, and I agree, part of the problem with this episode, was because Roger was on screen for maybe 60 seconds.

So had Pete already hooked up with the other lady that had seen Hair previously? It seemed like maybe Pete just wanted one night stands so he get in to more complicated situations like last year with his bus mate's wife.

So far this season has been something of a let-down. Having said that, let me add that even mediocre Mad Men is still better than most of what's on TV.

What an arrogant douche. You manage to convince your wife to get a city apartment to be closer to work (or chase some skirts), yet he chooses to take a lover who lives on his same block.

I'm glad that Trudy found out and put him in place.

The flashbacks to Dick's childhood was interesting. Haven't seen those in a longtime. Was he living in a whorehouse?

I agree that Don and Pete's stories kind of paralled each other. Kind of scratching my head at Don's choice for a lover. Not to say the Doctor's wife isn't attractive, but she seems kind of plain for what he normally went for.

Don seems to have a thing for relationships that he knows won't work out. I think that's the big appeal with Velma Weir.
