Nikita -- "Masks" -- 4/12/13
Synopsis:
Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) confesses her desire to leave Division to Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford), while Amanda (Melinda Clarke) begins providing Owen (Devon Sawa) with something he was never able to find - memories of his real past. Despite Nikita's (Maggie Q) attempts to help, Owen begins to confront the events of his past. Shane West and Dillon Casey also star. Chris Peppe directed the episode written by Kamran Pasha (#317).
Episode 17 of 22
FYI, it was reported this week on Deadline that Nikita will likely return for a 4th and final season. The showrunner signed a deal with the studio to produce anywhere from 6-13 episodes. We won't find out for sure until next month when The CW announces next season's schedule.

They're really stretching suspension of disbelief with Amanda's mind control. But I don't care, because this episode was awesome.
Didn't see the Owen twist coming. I thought Devon Sawa did a good job. Loved the fight between him and Michael.
Some crazy shit going down in Division. These last few episodes should be good.
Next week looks wild, and we get to see

Spoiler:
Sawa's best ep. of the series IMO.
A little annoyed that all of a sudden there are a ton of speaking roles for obvious Red Shirts...I may have given more of a shit about the coup if its leaders had been developed over the course of the season. The whole mutiny thing looks like it was crafted on the fly, mid-season.
LOVED the look of fear on Amanda's face when "Sam" had her at gun-point.
Liked Sean's on-the-fly reaction when he was cornered by the "rebels". Curious as to how Alex is going to maneuver out of the fiasco she (and Amanda) created.
Thought for a second that Michael was going to lose his hand again. (Healed quickly apparently.)

Alex forgot that Division is filled with criminals and killers. Her 'we can do this without hurting anyone' is like trying to organize a non violent prison riot.
Amanda wasn't looking so weathered in this episode. I guess getting over on Nikita does wonders for the complexion.
