You're going to tease us like this with one question?

This game is like crack, I'm gonna have withdrawals all weekend.

Gave me a chance for a dry run. Now I know better what I need to do to make it a bit faster and gives you a chance to watch some of the current Saturday Morning Children's Programming.

BTW did some research. Batman did have a hamster:

Snoopy never even came to mind for this one. He's the most famous cartoon dog, but I don't remember Peanuts being Saturday morning fare.

I'll take the -5!

I knew Snoopy was an evening dog but figured he'd get some votes anyway. A lot of good answers played, though.

Re: Th-th-th-that's Sheep, Folks! The Saturday Morning Cartoon Sheep.

And for that upcoming Looney Tunes director question, I forgot about this bit in the rules:

Unless a question specifies otherwise, answers should be limited to Children's Saturday Morning Programming - not straight-to-DVD releases, TV films, promotional films, prime time only shows (No Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, etc.)
So while a correct answer could be any director of children's programming (that would be shown on Saturday morning), it can't be just any director period.

Sounds like that question isn't going to be that bad of a problem though.

And come on devilshalo ... GIVE US ONE MORE!!!

The correct play for the directors answer was to choose Chuck Jones and slam dunk it.

Except I couldn't for the life of me recall the name. The only thing I was coming up with was Hank Jones, the jazz pianist.

I thought of Snoopy but assumed the same, that he was a prime time canine. I can't believe how many folks bootsy'd their slam dunks on this one. I could think of a bunch of answers and figured no one answer would dominate.

I would never have thought of the dog from The Jetsons.

Seriously. I hope the Jetsons aren't going to be the Duke of this game.

The correct play ... but will it be a winning play with this crowd? I'm having my doubts.

Right on!!!

Worked out worse for Droopy Dog and Huckleberry Hound though (which I seriously thought about answering too).

You could've said just Mr. Jones. I'd have argued for you!

It would have been pretty obvious that I was faking, though.

The frustrating thing is when I have this product in my house but I still can't come up with the name.

Ouch. Clearly not enough Stand By Me fans in this forum. "Pluto's a dog..." First thing that popped into my head and so strongly that I didn't even remember the other animated dogs.

Astro talked just like Scooby ("Ruh roh")--who was mentioned in the question--so it seemed like an obvious choice.
