For the first time ever I think the Cam & Mitchell story had the better laughs. The scene in the restaurant was fantastic. "most of our friends are white."

Yeah, I loved how Cam and Mitchell kept offending one couple after another.

And, of course, FLIPJACKS!

She's 47.

The restaurant scene was perfect.

Sort of a wasted justine appearance. Loved cam and Mitch plot.

Yeah, when I saw Justine I thought it was a Family Ties reunion. Until I checked, I thought the guy with the beard "future Luke" was Skippy.

Hi, me again. :) I didn't understand something.

07.38: Hello, parents, perspective norsemen. Welcome.

What does "perspective norsemen" mean? :S

prospective norsemen. norsemen was the mascot for the school. as in potential students to the school.

The restaurant scene was pretty good. The Jay/Manny stuff fell flat for me.

Same but I did like that Jay basically worked in a closet for rich people (coat check guy) then went on to get rich by designing closets.

Thought this episode was good. Didn't think a Lily centric plot line would be funny but I thought it worked really well. Lily saying she's gay and Gloria driving right back into the driveway was funny.

The Dunphy stuff wasn't the best but Phil and Luke saved it, as usual. I could go for 30 minutes of just those two.

It wasn't great but the part where Manny being interviewed was really funny. Loved him doing a moonwalk.

Also loved Jay's line from the beginning of the episode:
"I went to public school. I didn't even graduate college. Now look at me. That scone I just ate? Cost me $6. Didn't blink an eye."

Is it possible that the writer is really the Luke of his family? So all the best lines and jokes were all delivered by Luke? They have got to give Luke more airtime.

Give Luke a spin-off so we can laugh for a half hour instead of just here and there. :)

Justine Bateman's career doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Such a small role that could've been played by anyone. With Jason's success, surely he could hook her up with better gigs.

He got her a job in his office. She kept blowing everyone...

Away, I keep forgetting to say that.

It's funny that everyone likes Luke now. During the first few seasons, I remember everyone in these threads criticizing him as the weakest link on the show. I guess he's shown improvement. :)

I must say I gave Lily a lot of crap, but I think she has improved a great deal as well. She can at least deliver a solid punchline now.

Yeah, Lily is pretty good now. Surprisingly so.

Still not a fan of Lily. Did like the restaurant scene though. Loved how they kept offending everybody.

Didn't even realize it was Justine Bateman. She must have been one of the daughters at the hospital but I didn't recognize her at all.

She was grown-up Hailey. I didn't notice it was her until she walked toward the camera at one point. They definitely downplayed it.

The restaurant scene was perfectly timed and edited. It's a great example of writing to the medium.

I still think Luke's delivery isn't the greatest, but he does get great lines (plus he's a kid).
