I read it was originally titled Insert, but after reshooting he pilot it was bumped down on the executive's wish list. That's when they settled on Delete.

I think it had more to do with the similarly titled tech-noir porno about to be released starring Kayla Louise Sheffield.

^ I read it's nowhere near as good as the series because they had to scramble to rewrite the script when Kyle MacLachlan refused to return as the lead. :(

delete is such a piece of shit. It's a total rip-off of a little-known Indonesian series called Format. That show had better acting, camera work, and action scenes. delete is just WAY too American for my tastes.

I don't know what the other show is, but I know it doesn't deserve six seasons and a movie like this one.

That was just another remake of the Indonesian show. It would have been awesome too had they not replaced Léa Seydoux after the mini-series/pilot. The new actress had a "no nudity" clause so it just wasn't the same. :(

I thought it fell off when Harmon left the show and they changed the title to d1337. Fuckng NBC.
