Re: The Office - "The Farm" (3/14)
He's doing us a favor by not coming back. Anything they come up won't be as good as what they already did. And then we will just bitch about how they fucked it up.

I know that a lot of people clamored for more from the rest of the office, but I think we've seen that this season and I think a lot of those characters work best out of the limelight. |

Think that Darrell and Jim eat the cupcakes and get fired because of it?

Re: The Office - "The Farm" (3/14)
Packer laced the cupcakes with bathsalts, so Daryl actually eats Jim's face. It was on the extended producer's cut on NBC.com. This week's episode starts with a cold open of Pam visiting a now faceless Jim in the hospital.

Maybe the camera guy with a thing for Pam will kill himself, then they can transplant his face onto Jim so in a way she can be with both the men she loves.

Re: The Office - "The Farm" (3/14)
has there ever been a calculation on how much the production of this documentary is costing?
When I worked on reality television, we usually could do one day of shooting for about $2,800, which breaks down to a 10-12 hour day: cameraman + gear = 1400 Audio Engineer + gear = 800 Producer = $500 Production Assistant = $100 And that's not including food, lodging, additional producers, media management, post production, etc, etc. Now I realize this is a fictional situation, but they've brought back full force the idea that there is a film crew documenting this office. It seems that most of the scenes would require more than one camera, but even if they didn't, what would the budget of this documentary be at this point? |
Re: The Office - "The Farm" (3/14)
Yeah they've had up to 4 or 5 simultaneous multi-camera crews as well.
