Anyone watch this? Thoughts?

I watched it (well, FF'd a lot of it). It was fucking awful. Boring leadup, then the match itself was a joke. Herky-jerky robots attached to huge pivoting arms, swinging aimlessly at each other, with occasional sparks and mini-explosions set off by someone off camera, not related to any of the action. So bad.

This show had me thinking... this would be a great time to bring back Battlebots/Robot Wars. They could make it fit in today's reality tv landscape by showing some of the behind-the-scenes building/design/repair stuff. I think it would be a lot more interesting than this.

I liked how the preferred bot design evolved over the seasons as folk saw what worked and didn't.

Jericho-wise, he wasn't very good ... And did we really need additional FX during the fights? Just stick w the spraying fluids ...

Just wait till they do the episode where Lucas's daughter fights and he goes to watch. That'll get this place buzzing.
