STACEY FARBER ("DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION," "18 TO LIFE") GUEST STARS IN THIS EPISODE - Jeff (Matt Davis) enlists tech-savvy E.J. (guest star Stacy Farber "Degrassi: The Next Generation") to help in his search for his brother Nate (guest star James Pizzinato "Alcatraz"). Skye (Jessica Lucas) finally reveals to Jeff that she took the researcher job on "Cult" to learn more about Steven Rae. Meanwhile, at the production office, associate producer Peter Grey (guest star Ben Hollingsworth) brushes off Skye's concerns that some of the "Cult" fans believe there are hidden messages embedded in the show. On the television show, Kelly (Alona Tal) and Paz (guest star Kadeem Hardison, "A Different World") discover a body buried vertically, and Kelly believes that this might be a message from Billy (Robert Knepper). Sam Hill directed the episode written by Rockne S. O'Bannon (#102).

I'll be back in the United States Thursday morning. Looking forward to checking this out when I get back. Saw the ratings weren't good for episode 1 because it has such a shitty leadin.

So, I know I'm the only one watching this, but I like the meta-ness of it. I still think pretty much all the characters, except maybe the cult leader/actor, are too young for their roles, but I don't watch other things on CW so that might just be their thing and/or I'm getting old.

I completely forgot to DVR this and its the one-time CW isn't replaying all of their shows over a Fri/Sat. Was the 2nd episode any more compelling than the 1st?
