Really felt bad for Schmidt during the proposal scene. He used to be my least favorite character, but they've really done a great job of giving him real depth as the show has gone on. I really hope he ends up with Cece in the end though.

I wasn't really feeling New Girl earlier this year (after it having been one of my favorite shows of last year), so I let 6 episodes build up on my DVR. I burned through them last night, and I don't know if I just missed these characters, but this last stretch of episodes has been as good as the show has ever been -- if not better.
I agree about Schmidt. I've always loved that guy, but I think they've turned a corner with him just being the goofball, to being a bit more well rounded and well defined. |
