Episode 5 of 15

It's a day early, but I'm going to be out of town on vacation for the next few weeks. Just starting a few threads of the more popular shows while I'm away. I'll have limited internet access, but I may pop in here and there.

Pretty boring episode since it was mostly a courtroom drama. At least Pamela finally looked pregnant tonight. The previews teased someone is going to get shot next week. I think we all know who that is.

Yup. :(

I'm guessing
Spoiler:
JR goes down proving to John Ross, once and for all, that family always comes first.

I wonder if they just "lucked out" with what they shot. By that I mean that JR was always meant to get shot, regardless of Hagman's, health but originally survived. You snip off a happy ending and you have the final end of JR.

Yeah, that was a pretty boring episode. I guess they really do fast track murder cases in Texas.

I do wonder how Hagman's death has affected the plot. It looked like they had something planned for JR vs Ryland, but after his death they decided to just have Anne shoot him.

Hagman died during episode 6 (or 7); Anne shot Ryland in episode 3.

And they didn't have time to rewrite certain storylines? Wasn't it episode 2 where JR said, very dramatically that taking down Ryland would be his greatest work? There has been nothing between JR and him since that episode.

I guess JR was in the courtroom though, so that would rule that out. I just thought we were going to get this big showdown and then Anne goes and screws it up.

What a rushed episode! Pretty bland too.
