I thought this one was a rather average episode and a bit disappointing after the 2 strong episodes that preceded it.

However, there were some highlights, like Dean's "nesting" behavior in the batcave with his own room and his cooking. And the way the hellhounds looked through the specially treated glasses was a great effect, although I can't remember if that's the first time they've been visible for viewers of the show (?)

I liked the episode and the direction it took. The trials could be interesting. I wish we could see some more of the home base and the cool things it must contain. So far it doesnt seem like its helped them do anything.

A fairly predictable self-contained plot, though the hellhounds were truly menacing when first introduced years ago. We've seen enough of them by now to become jaded by their presence.

too lazy to create a new thread for this past weeks episode about the psychic cop and dog turning witch partner... first off, i fucking hated it. Secondly, is this some sort of backdoor pilot? It really smelled like one.

It definitely felt weird, like the episode was showcasing the warlock and his familiar more than normal. It wouldn't surprise me to see both of those actors land leading gigs on another CW show, it's how they operate.

I created one now ( http://forum.dvdtalk.com/tv-talk/608...20-2013-a.html ), so hopefully people will use that one instead of this one (which is just so wrong!)
