Run of the mill episode. This isn't as interesting as it should be.

I thought this was a pretty good episode. It was strong in the character development department. We see that Jacob is really struggling fitting into Carroll's cult having not killed anyone. His relationship with Emma and Paul is really strange and unique. One of the more bizarre triangles. Right now they are more interesting than Carroll.

The flashbacks were effective to help establish more background on Jacob, Jenny, along with Hardy and Claire's past. Interesting what we learned about Hardy's dark past.

What were those items that Maggie put on Hardy's chest? Were they magnets? I assume they were supposed to fuck up his pacemaker.

My one nitpick was how stupid the Asian girl was. Instead of having a better chance for survival running out into the woods and trying to find a road, she hides in the barn? Really?? You would think common sense would tell you otherwise.

I saw some numbers from the premiere episode. With DVR, Hulu, On Demand, re-airs factored in, the premiere got 20.34M viewers and 5.1 in demos.

This pissed me off. SO dumb.

Yeah, kind of a frustrating episode in that regard. I thought it was the weakest thus far.

It was a little bit entertaining, but yeah, not that good compared to the previous ones.

Next week looks good though.

Up to this episode I didn't think that junior agent (the kid that's either on Warehouse 13 or has a twin that's on W13) was in on it...but when Bacon's character called him Mike from the ambulance I saw a little flash in his eyes that made me suspicious. I'm watching and mostly enjoying but I'm clearly not getting attached enough to watch without surfing at same time (so maybe he called him Mike earlier in the ep too).

This one didn't really keep my attention as all the previous episodes. Will certainly need to watch it again but it was just blah to me.

Needs more Purefoy. He needs to breakout or lead a prison riot or something.

I thought it was good. Interesting that Hardy walks away from Claire at the end. Not sure I quite understand him.

Hardy looks at himself as damaged/cursed and doesn't want to bring that into Claire's life.

Being that Carroll is stuck in prison, I think we've gotten a decent amount of screentime from Purefoy via the flashbacks. I'm sure something will transpire in the coming weeks that will make him alot more prominent in present time.

If you still think Claire isn't in on this, you're being gullible. They're clearly setting it up that everything he tells Claire gets to the followers ears and drives their motives. Sure that's easily found without Claire, but it just seems that the show is making a point to give us that exposition through their old relationship at times when we'd wonder how the bad guys would know.

I was thinking how did Maggie know where Jenny's restaurant is? Seems like a really remote location in Brooklyn. Unless one of the followers did a google search on Hardy's sister. Carroll never saw that place and as the flashback showed Claire ate there with Hardy.

It was an interesting episode, particularly about the one guy that wants to be a killer but can't actually do it. I hate when shows attempt to endanger the lead character as a main plot, it removes almost any real sense of danger from the episode. They are not going to kill off Kevin Bacon in the first four episodes, which is why putting him in mortal danger does nothing for the audience.

^^^ Yeah that was really predictable. It would have been alot more believable if Jenny was in mortal danger.

So what were those blocks on Hardy's chest? Magnets?

Yes, they even directly referenced she stopped at a hardware store for magnets. I believe she said that too in her Bond-villain monologue.

Another possibility (outside of Claire) is that she got it from Weston. They've made his character where he practically knows everything about Ryan Hardy.

Not real keen about the 3 way relationship between the three kidnappers. It's just kinda boring me at this point.

Why haven't they realized that Michael Weston should be in Miami with Fiona and Sam?
