This was a classic Parks and Rec episode. I lit er ally laughed my ass off at some great lines.

"This looks like the food my food would eat"

"It smells like some vomit took a dump in here"

That scene with the 3 of them with food poisoning was hysterical. Great great episode.

I LOL'd at Ron ordering "12 eggs and part of a dead animal, dealer's choice."

I liked April taking Leslie's usual role in the town forums, and how she eventually--by being herself--handled all the crazies better than Leslie does.

Ann suddenly wanting to be a mom is odd.

Instantly one of my favorite Ron lines... lol

The girl's storyline was meh, except for April finally being herself at the meetings.

The guy's storyline was great. They played the food poisoning stuff up so well. I was dying.

This episode was ok but not up to par from previous shows

Sucks this is the first time watching with no 30 Rock lead in on my DVR.

The Douche and Sewage Joe return.

Classic ep of Parks. So many great lines - and the food poisoning scene and phone dialing were incredible. So damn good.

The only thing that struck the wrong note with me was the idea that they wouldn't have automatically gone with JJ's for catering. It's actually sort of offensive to the idea of Leslie as a character.

No offense to Bekka Bramlett and Dave Mason, but 1995 wouldn't have been the year that I would have chosen to go see Fleetwood Mac in concert; even Christine had stopped touring by that point. They didn't reunite with the popular lineup until 1997.

Leslie would probably have wanted to go see them anytime, since they played at the '92 DNC though!

I think the idea is that Leslie has horrid taste.

Maybe the 1995 incarnation of Fleetwood Mac would have actually played Pawnee. Even then, you figure they would have played Eagleton before they would have played Pawnee.

The Mac has had a lot of lineup changes in their long history. The mid-nineties prior to the big reunion in '97 was probably the low point. The "reunion" for Clinton's inauguration in '93 was a one off performance.

Have they established where Leslie went to college? Because Fleetwood Mac very well could have played her college town in 95.

My first thought is that JJs isn't a "wedding caterer" like the others were. As in, he can do it, it's just not a service he's advertising. Also, he could be making an exception for Leslie.

Too many good things to list. The food poisoning and the return of Ira and the Douche were the highlights.

Well, part of the conceit of the episode was Ben was in charge of this task. I think probably all I'm saying is Leslie's reaction (or JJ's perhaps) should have been of course that's what Leslie wanted -- she had this all set up back from like 7th grade.

ETA: I actually have a track record of attending weddings of friends catered by restaurants who didn't really do that sort of thing. From what I've seen, it is a rare restaurant indeed where they won't turn down good business even if it's not their usual thing.

Also, Ben was in charge of the catering, he wouldn't necessarily think to put it first either. He usually doesn't have brilliant ideas up front...hell I guess this show has a lot of downs before people get pushed in the right direction. Tom's business, Leslie being locked in the closet by Ron, Anne actually working and not just hanging out at city hall, Andy's quest to be a security guard/cop.
