I might have missed it, but how long are these episodes? Assuming their either a full hour or approx. 45mins.

They are in between 50-60 minutes in most cases...
On episode 10, really good show... It caught me off guard...Kate Mara is always nice to look at too

Loved the eulogy scene in episode 3. I was floored.
I'm on the final episode now.
My favorite quote is:
"Proximity to power dilutes some into believing they wield it."

Shall I just go ahead and do the 3 at a time threads for the rest of the seeason?
Seems like some of you are actually finishing the season this weekend?
Edit: Threads for the entire season are now done.

They would have to change their current rules. It's more likely than not that Netflix will find someone to run it on their Network later this year to make it eligible.

Great series, it was already common knowledge that this was already going to be at least two seasons based on reports of the 100 million financial commitment Netflix put into it being for two seasons
Didn't think I'd rush through them as fast as I did, looking forward to season two in a year

Show is starting to grow on me. I wasn't too impressed with the first episode, but by the third one I've really gotten into the characters and what's going on. Also helped that the third had more humor than the first two.

Maybe it was because it was the marathon aspect of watching it (I did 1-3 Friday and 4-13 on Saturday), but I found the last two episodes to be kind of weak/slow being that it was mostly people tracking down/figuring out things we already knew and the VP musical chairs. But still as a whole I really really liked it and can't wait for Season 2.

One improvement over the British version is the character of the wife (Claire in the US version). In the UK series she was a stay-at-home Lady Macbeth type. Here she's given a more interesting storyline in her own right.

Really enjoyed this episode, but wow. Being in D.C. it's hard not to laugh at the fucking "Washington Herald" as a replacement for the Post. Looking forward to seeing some more familiar locations.
On to the next episode!

I've seen shows do some ridiculous fake TV networks like ZNN or something like that.

Wait. Who exactly sent Zoe that picture in the premiere? They were just showing her it because they thought Underwood was checking her out, right? But even so, couldn't that person put two and two together and figure out who her source is?

Think I'm gonna wait for blu-rays - looked like shit on my end - something was off with both the AR and frame-rate, made it hard to watch. But then all my streaming services suck since my ISP (AT&T) sucks.
