Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
So whats the word on this show? They've given up their time slot over to "Golden Boy". Ratings weren't great but they did edge out Smash and Body of Proof.
They ended with episode 15--I thought there were 21, will we see them later? Tim Per Futon Critic it will return March 19 |

Tim One major problem I read about this show is the average age that watches it at least according to Nielsen is around 65 or 66. That's a problem for advertisers. It gets decent total viewers, but apparently mostly old farts like it. Being a period drama with 2 older leads probably hurts its appeal to younger viewers. I've always liked Dennis Quaid in other productions, but he comes across as very wooden here. I don't think he was the right guy to play Ralph Lamb. What's the average age of the posters in this forum? Under 30? That's why this and most CBS crime dramas don't get much love here with a few exceptions. |
Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
wasn't it only supposed to be 2 weeks or something?
I'm sure I heard the promo guy say "Vegas returns in 2 weeks" that first night Golden Boy was in Vegas's slot. then Golden Boy had a Friday episode where CSI NY had been since CSINY had their finale early but then Golden Boy stayed in the Tuesday slot I'm missing Vegas, it may not be excellent tv but it's good |

Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
Can Sarah Jones get on another watchable show please?
I really wanted to like this show but it was just a chore for me to watch. Probably get another season picking up that coveted 60+ demo on CBS. |
Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
I was a fan of the series but with the long break and it moving to Fridays, I'm out.

back on tonight, 9pm

Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
Probably no one cares, but Friday's Vegas, pre-empted by the capture coverage, is Saturday at 8 PM.

Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
Thanks. Looks like the DTV guide has it. It's actually been pretty good the last few eps. Which means it's more likely to be axed.

Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
Tonight's finale was satisfying enough. It "ended" with stuff tied up enough.
|
Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
Yeah, I think they knew the writing was on the wall when they moved it to Friday.
|
Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
I watched the first six or seven episodes of this one. Enjoyed it enough, but I missed a few episodes and that was it.

Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
Last two episodes has Michael Ironside as the main bad, and it was pretty good.

Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
Shame. Decent show. I enjoyed it for the performances.

Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
The last 2 episodes were really good. Sad to see this go. Agree that they tied things up nicely for a finale.

Re: Vegas -- Tuesdays (CBS)
Sad to see this one cancelled. It got better throughout the season and was just finding it's path towards the end.
