Didn't care for this episode at all. Disappointing season so far. Last week was great so I thought maybe it turned a corner but I guess not.

"I'm unarmed, for the record."
"There ain't any record, Randall. Not today."

Raylan, all beat and shot up: "I knew you liked me."

Love the dialogue on this show.

at Rachel whacking the cockfighting guy with a nightstick.

"You say one more word about chickens, I'll shoot you."
...
"There's money in fightin' chickens, Raylan."
*BLAM!*

Great season so far.

Amazing episode. The constant bean bag shooting was hilarious. As usual the show keeps giving you swerves you dont see coming.

This was my favorite part. Not a second's hesitation.

So the chick was basically just total slime? She gave all Raylan's $$ to the fighter, and then played them against each other, then split? Nice.

Was hoping for a little progress on the mystery front, but overall a solid season thus far.

While this felt about as much of as a filler episode that you can have with a 13 episode season, it was still funny as hell.

Off-screen too. I'm wondering if there was more planned, but they had to change directions before of conflicts with the actor.

Re: Justified -- "This Bird Has Flown" -- 1/29/13

I'd chalk off screen up to being budget.

I like how after having two semi-epic seasons they've thrown a few false flags in this season. Some of you thought the fighter was going to be a third protagonist (or at least anti-hero). Nope. Some of us figured the preacher story for being far more significant than it was. Nope. That said, it's clear the only way off this show is death. The preacher's sister, the fighter, and the flame are all coming back, eventually I'd guess.

What we have now is the disappearance of the whore and the apparent central mystery. They have to be tying the two of them in together. I'm guessing the whore is with Johnny.

The whore is with the preachers sister. You could tell that she hadn't thought about ella may before but the conversation in the sheriffs office got her wheels turning.

She'd go with the sister? That's the only qualm I have there. I think she might go with Johnny.

So the MMA guys master plan is to fight chickens?? He sets up elaborate plans to have a US Marshall bang his wife, steals said Marshall's money and then fights fucking chickens?? I mean, I know this is down south, but even the hillbillys on Buckwild have better ideas than this.

I dont think he planned on Raylan banging his wife. I thought he came to town, found out what was up and then convinced his wife to come back to him. And then they plotted to take his money and run off and fulfill his dream of fighting chickens.

And Raylan and Boyd have not crossed paths yet. I remember reading an interview and the writers said they were intentionally keeping them apart until about half way through the season.

They need to keep Boyd and Raylan apart as much as possible... there are only two possible scenarios:
1. Boyd gets busted or killed and we get no more Boyd mischief
2. Boyd and Raylan team up for the greater good -- been there done that.

At some point Boyd has to go down (or Raylan) and that will be when the series is over - IMO.

That part was great. I also loved Raylan's reaction when the girl said he'd have to wrestler her. I rewound that part about 4-5 times.

That shit was hilarious.

I also wonder if she'll make another appearance
