Most Improved Shows this Season ?

What shows do you think have been the most improved this 12/13 tv season compared to the show's previous season ?

For me

Walking Dead
2 Broke Girls
The League

Re: Most Improved Shows this Season ?

I'd have a lot more to say if this topic was shows that have dropped in quality compared to last season. But, to answer your specific question, I'd have to go with Walking Dead, which I thought was shockingly better. I was one more bad half-season away from dropping the show. Now I look forward to it.

I was ready to drop both Hawaii 5-0 and Burn Notice coming into this season and both have done a 180 for me, and have been a blast this season.

The Walking Dead

Dexter

Covert Affairs

Covert Affairs was the biggest improvement in my book. Turned into a pretty compelling serialized spy thriller compared to the first 2 seasons when it was a fluffy CIA procedural.

Walking Dead and Covert Affairs are good picks - I felt like this season of The League was just OK and Dexter has continued it's skid off the rails.

The Walking Dead and Dexter, both of which had me wondering "Why am I watching this shit?" before their latest (half-)seasons.

Now I can't wait for them to return.

Two broke girls is a down in quality for me.

Too much of the fake Polish accent women.

It's just too stupid when she's on the show.

Dexter. I didn't hate season six as much as a lot of people personally, but will agree that overall season seven was much better.

I struggled to think of one, but saw Covert Affairs mentioned and have to agree.

I agree with Walking Dead and Dexter.

I would also add Homeland because they took that show to a whole new level with that season finale..

Hawaii 5-0 has gotten a lot worse IMHO. It is becoming a chore to watch.

Person of Interest has gotten a lot better and it already was great. That would be my choice.

Yeah, I liked the first season, but it's really hitting on all cylinders now.

Re: Most Improved Shows this Season ?

I'm surprised by all the votes for Dexter. With the exception of Ray Stevenson, I thought this was the weakest season.

Re: Most Improved Shows this Season ?

It's not saying much, but The Office has gone from intolerable to...well, decent since Season 8.

Game of Thrones. I liked the first season, but the second one really knew how to inject some action and fantasy visuals. Also, I`m surprised to say it, but toning down the sex scenes helped too.

Re: Most Improved Shows this Season ?

Boardwalk Empire was fantastic this season...one of the few shows on TV that is getting better as it goes along (sadly, a lot tuned out after Season 1).
