I was glad that someone recorded the fight on their phone or it would've been completely unbelievable. In the real world every single person save an old Amish dude wandering by would've whipped their phones out within seconds.

Nice reveal at the beginning that Carrie is the daughter of the mob boss.

Holy shit that fight was brutal. Fucking awesome though. Loved how everyone just sat around and watched it rather than try to break it up.

So far, I'm enjoying this show a hell of alot more than Hunted.

Wow, like everyone else has said, that was one brutal fight. The only other one that I can think of that even comes close is the one towards the end of Rome.

I'm really enjoying this show and I'm glad that it got renewed for a second season. Hunted was so/so, but Cinamax has been putting out some good TV lately between this and Strikeback. Here's hoping they can keep the momentum going.

some of the whackings in season 2 of Boardwalk Empire are def up there as far as brutal fights on tv go

OK, the fight was amazing, but come on. An MMA fighter brutally rapes and beats a woman and they come at him with one sheriff and one deputy, and the sheriff goes at him without weapons? They needed to come at him with a dozen brutes and taze the crap out of him. So, totally unrealistic.

Let me say first off that I really enjoyed this episode and loved the fight (and how beat up Hood was afterwards!), but this show needs to quickly figure out some way to explain why he isn't gonna go to jail ASAP. The MMA guy didn't even resist arrest. If he'd at least taken a swing at Hood first then I could understand almost beating him to death in front of a crowd of witnesses, but he didn't do anything except defend himself after getting sucker punched. Even in backwoods Pennsylvania that shit isn't gonna fly, especially when the guy you just beat up is at least moderately high profile.
