BJ And The Bear

Anybody remember this show? I remember loving it 30 years ago but I've watched the pilot and first regular episode in the last couple of days and really is nothing special. Don't think I'll be continuing with it.

Re: BJ And The Bear

Judging from the title, I'd say this was a gay pornographic film. Reading the description doesn't change my mind.

I never saw the show but it seems to get referenced every once in a while.

There's a concept I can't get enough of, a man and his monkey.

I prefered the spinnoff The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo.

Weird. Every Which Way but Loose and the sequel, Any Which Way You Can are two of my favorite comedies, but I could never watch BJ and the Bear.

I remember liking this show as a kid but much like all the shows from that time, Ive found its best to leave the memory as is. The sitcoms hold up much better.

Ditto. It was silly but funny. At least it was when I was in early elementary school. Wonder how bad it is now?

We all agree that this is a sci-fi show, right?

Think you're confusing the reference to Apocalypse Now (I love the smell of commerce in the morning!) with this.
