Not that this is a surprise, but Favreau says he's currently writing season 4. I saw the interview where he mentioned it.

The exclusive footage shown at Celebration was pretty awesome (and they had dozens of staff watching for stealth cell phone use, lol). Looks like a lot of action is in store.

Saw some amateur recordings. It does look badass.

Looking forward to it in 2023. I like how Bo Katan was talking to Grogu about Mando and referred to him as Your Dad.

I guess they are following modern filmmaking patterns ...

Season 1: Mandalorian
Season 2: The Mandalorian
Season 3: Mandalorians

I'm guessing the next will be The Mando4ian.

Directors on this season of The Mandalorian include returning helmer Rick Famuyiwa, Black Panther cinematographer Rachel Morrison, Minari filmmaker Lee Isaac Chung, Mandalorian actor Carl Weathers, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse‘s Peter Ramsey and returning Mando director Bryce Dallas Howard.

Re: The Mandalorian -- Star Wars -- News, rumors, etc. -- possible spoilers

Trailer was fine, a lot of the same scenes as before, likely from 4-5 episodes - which I'm totally fine with keeping some entirely in the dark. With how good Coruscant looked in Andor it's going to be tough seeing it revert back to the prequels look here - that shot of Pershing looks awful.

Ugh...Tatooine - please make it stop. Wonder what was being forged?...

Yeah, I'm thinking it's a flashback to how Grogu escaped.

Carl Weathers seems to have dropped a major spoiler regarding the future of Star Wars.

I think he’s just incorrectly using that word.

Yeah, I’m guess he just meant
Spoiler:
”universe”. I guess we’ll see. Maybe we’ll see a universe where Luke Skywalker doesn’t get completely boned by a shitty script.

If they did go multiverse I’d be right TF out.

Re: The Mandalorian -- Star Wars -- News, rumors, etc. -- possible spoilers

I didn't see anything in that tweet that would be interpreted as a "spoiler"

Weathers is a 75 year old man. Relax, I'm willing to bet he has a PR rep who tweets and posts things to social media for him and that person probably just used the word incorrectly.

The Clone Wars and Rebels ever so slightly dabbled with “other” worlds but used them very sparingly and kept the idea very mysterious and vague. Like adding a very strong seasoning to a recipe: just enough to let you know something unusual was there but it didn’t overpower the whole meal.
